We are booked on that Feb 9 Jade cruise. 🤞.

So close! This morning my bid was greyed out and still said pending. I could seen one cabin available in a mock booking. An hour later I looked to see if it was “processing.” Now I am able to modify my bid again, and Haven shows “sold out” for my cruise. Easy come, easy go?

We just checked in and purchased the priority upgrade that includes a spa credit on port days. Can anyone tell me how (early) I can book a mani/pedi and how late the spa is open for this service? Any “tips” welcome…this is our first NCL cruise (Epic, November).

I was nervous; we always booked our own, but the price and having NCL on the hook during turbulent times pushed me over. The itinerary (into Rome out of Tel Aviv) are exactly what I would have chosen. Short duration and one layover each way. My status on Delta let me upgrade to Delta Comfort. It was definitely worth the $1200 savings for us.

We received our flight info today 43 days out, and I am very pleased. Outbound we are on Delta with a a brief layover in CDG, and I was able to use their app and my status to select preferred seats. Return flight is AC, but the times are great. Yes, we saved money, but also received a good itinerary.

We are sailing on the Epic this coming November (Mediterranean). Six of the 12 days, we are in port before 9pm, only 3 before 6 pm. I have the option to bid on a Spa cabin with access to thermal spa for $185 pp. I know this is SPC cheaper than a pass for the cruise duration, but would we use it? When do you use the thermal spa, and what are the hours? Do you like to go after dinner on a port day?

Update: I received an email that they noticed the change in my reservation so they cancelled my bids and gave me new offers. An upgrade from Balcony to Club Balcony Suite now starts at $75, which isn’t a savings if we end up on deck 8, but would save about $200 pp for a higher deck. I also could now bid on Haven starting at $600 pp, but that’s not in the cards for us.

Update: I called NCL again because I did not hear back about my request to pay for an upgrade at the new, lower price without penalty. The rep did not see a record of my call yesterday. This time, she placed me on hold while she reached out to the “RD” and I was able to get the upgrade and choose my cabin over the phone. I canceled my bid for this specific, secured upgrade (which was about the same as I ended up paying). My upgrade offers have not (yet) changed to reflect my new cabin category, but I’ll watch over the next week or so. I lowered my existing bids for club and spa categories so that if they are accepted, the total would still be a great deal.

I have bids placed on our first NCL cruise in November on the Epic. Prices have dropped, so I called today (well after final payment). I now could get a guaranteed balcony for close to the the inside fare I paid in June, and I’d be willing to pay a bit more to choose my cabin. The representative put in a request with the “resolution team” who will email me directly; she said that is a necessary step before purchasing an upgrade. I don’t know how long that will take. I am curious to see if they approve it, if I will be able to choose my cabin, and whether I still will be able to bid on another, possibly better, upgrade if I secure this upgrade. I’ll keep you posted how it works out.

One tour provider out of the port declined to drop us off near Tiberias at the Church of Beatitudes monastery, so I will focus on finding a local tour operator after taking a taxi to our hotel. Now I am wondering about disembarking, and when we might meet a taxi if we officially arrive at 6 a.m.

After disembarking in Haifa, my husband and I will extend our stay two days. We have lodging that night at the Sea of Galilee. I would either like to 1) take a Nazareth/Sea of Galilee tour from Haifa and be dropped off at our hotel instead of returning to the port, or 2) taxi to our hotel and then take a tour out of Tiberius. I would also love to take an early boat ride on the lake the next morning before continuing to Tel Aviv later in the day. Any suggestions for tour operators or logistics?
