MSC online Itinerary still states me boarding on 16th in Haifa ... but I heard that passengers boarding on 21st are getting the info @todd-r posted - and the israeli site is quite clear about the cancellation from haifa ...
new route starting 21st is supposedly: Piräus/Athen – Izmir – Istanbul instead of Rhodos – Limassol – Haifa
So far no info from MSC - I just received this night an email with the offer to upgrade my cabin !?!?!
on their israeli site they just state (if google translate is right) that cruises till 23rd are cancelled and eligible for refund ... if I had no internet access and my flight to israel would be carried out eg. today .. then I would be stranded in Haifa because MSC didnt release any info they are going to bodrum and flying there would be really useless ... not so good
Yes, but they have less information than this board .. and if the news are right, they decided to start from bodrum on monday, but have not decided where to go on the 26th, but this is not helping me if I have no official info at all, what my options are ...
@Beamafar I also believe that they will at least skip the port - so even if the flight would be available, taking it would be a not-so-good idea since standing in the harbour with no ship picking me up is in this situation not really a good one ... but the longer they take to give info about their decision - the less options I have for alternatives
for me too, we should be embarking on sunday in Haifa - would be really nice to know it the ship is there or what alterate port it will be in ...
what other options are there usually other than cancelling - different embarkation port/early-late-embarkation? will they give any compensation in these cases?
