Thanks for the information. We have only done one cruise since the pandemic started and it wasn't Celebrity. The last time we were on Celebrity was a few years before that, so we have some catching up to do in terms of learning what has changed and the best way to deal with those changes.

Does anyone have any more recent information?

Thank you. I'll go searching. I remember when the menus would be posted here. It was so nice to be able to plan around our favorites and least favorites.

Thank you very much for your review and pictures (and I am sorry you are having so much rain). We had considered this cruise but couldn't quite make everything come together, so I have a more than usual interest in the live reports. BUT I am disappointed by the news shared earlier about no fixed seating and the inability to make reservations for dinner at any remotely "preferable" time. We wanted to sail with Captain Kate (and Bug of course 😁) in the spring, but waiting in line for dinner every night is a no-go for us. Hopefully Celebrity will reconsider this idea and it won't spread to the rest of the fleet, or even this class of ship.

I found a post from the summer that the Oasis class ships must use Crown Bay. What about RCCL's other ships? Princess? Celebrity? NCL? Carnival? I can't remember which lines had the contract with Crown Bay versus Havensight pre-pandemic, and things could have changed in the last few years.

My experience with friends who have had it is similar to twins' friends. All healthy vaccinated twenty and thirty somethings who have tested positive for the first time in the past several months have spent a week in bed and said it's the sickest they have ever been. The vaccine itself totally knocks me out of commission for between three and seven days. So no, I do not want covid, ever.

As someone who has both a passport and a real ID (coincidentally from Virginia--and it was a HUGE pain to gather the necessary documentation), and as someone who liked to consider myself an informed traveler (at least before COVID), I had never heard of an enhanced license before reading this discussion. Neither had any of my friends or family in several other states. So I would like to thank the original poster for bringing this to our attention.
