Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/20)

  1. Hi Newishcruise, Usually for first time Alaska Cruiser, it is recommeded you do a round trip. For those who choose to sail up to Whittier either have plans to continue a land segment or spend some time in anchorage and fly out. Can't comment on Emerald as I have only been on Royal and Diamond. You may want to watch some youtube videos to have a better idea. With regards to booking through Princess website or Travel Agent, I think it depends on the country you are in, how established are your cruise TAs. Where I am from (Singapore) TAs on cruises are limited and I always book direct for various cruiselines. Hope this bump up your question and there will be more replies.
  2. Hi, Just would like to check whether anyone encountered the same issue as me. I plan to book 7D Voyage of Glaciers Northbound on 20 June 2026 on Discovery and Princess website is showing the following prices and the standard, plus and premiere packages looks odd, there should not be benefits under standard. * (Prices show are in Singapore Dollars).
  3. the repo from China to Singapore is interesting but dates dont work for me... the rest are expected.. think RCI model for Asia are all the short cruises.. Anyone has the Singapore deployment borchure to share?
  4. Yes, nothing yet for singapore. Usually, RCI releases on Weds, maybe US time?
  5. RCI seemed to have special prices for the destination country citizens during sailing launch. During Australia sailing launch previously, I wanted to book a 6D Tasmania cruise and it was going at high price about SGD$3000 per pax balcony. I then went to RCI Australia displayed the same cruise and it was a much lower fare as there was a promo for Australians and New Zealand Residents. i waited few months out and prices dropped and I booked the same sailng at almost half price. Not sure if it is the same this round. i am keen on Voyager but itinearies aren't exciting.
  6. my guess is Ovation will come to Singapore from Oct 2025 onwards as the Singapore season is usually Nov to Apr
  7. Perhaps can consider Australia or New Zealand sailings for a more western crowd and fun vibe. Im from Singapore and always on RCL in Asia and also been to West Med.. the crowd and vibe of a West Med cruise was so happening and lively.. Asia cruises are much quieter and people are usually reserved and keep to their own groups.
  8. thanks for sharing. I went to check out the new Asia release, was waiting for it. - Spectrum will be in Shanghai till Apr 2026. No sailing in Dec 2025 maybe dry dock due to cold weather? - Ovation will be in Tianjin from Apr to Oct 2025... so I guess it will come to Singapore after that. Nothing for me to book, was keen to get something in Dec 2025 from china-japan. Disappointed, will check other cruise lines🙁
  9. wow... 2 quantum ships.. Can't wait to see the itineraries being offered
  10. Hi, Anyone has news from TA on the upcoming March release of China deployment?
