  1. I just did a quick search but was not able to find. Anyway about one month or so ago someone posted a pic of the same suite on Apex. They reported that it met every single need and worth noting, that person said they used a wheelchair. I’ll try to find the pic later, but I think you will be ok.
  2. Well you start by purchasing a bar tab, in the $ amount of your choosing, and VV adds $ to in on a sliding scale. Once on the cruise, you buy ANY drink you want (soda is already included) and you don't have to think about the cost because any drink you purchse comes from your tab. Most of us have a rough idea of how much and what we will drink, so we can most likely buy the bar tab that best suits us. On Celebrity, you have a choice, Classic or Premium and now apparently the mystery package at an amount to be determined once on board. With Celebrity it is just far more involved than it should be to simply get a drink. IMO VV takes the guess work out and makes the process far more customer friendly.
  3. Short of having ALL drinks included in a cruise, i.e. paid up front, no hidden/additional costs, VV seems to have the best options.
  4. You make the time to post a very detailed video of a cabin that gets discussed here and a lot of people find interesting. I don't see why you need to apologize to someone who clealry needs to find something to complain about for no reason, esp. when you are just trying to be helpful. I hope you and the GF are having a great cruise!
  5. Is there a preference for a main dining room on Beyond? I don't think there will be a specific thread as to preference, but within the various dining threads folks have said what they prefer, for a variety of reasons. Basically the same though, save for a few items specific to each.
  6. Thanks for sharing this! Basically, it's just a reiteration of her non&semi answers to the Q&A here on CC. So they have classic, premium and the "it's a secret and we don't tell you cost until you are on board package".
  7. Unless the elevator announces the floor number at each stop and when the doors open it announces the up or down direction.
  8. Then just tap yours and it will make you the player.
  9. Thanks for the feedback all, much appreciated! I'm just going to stick with the XL Terrace.
  10. I just read the review you mentioned here...and you had me at no food pictures! Great review, love your writing style.
  11. For me it was the height being on 15 and the sheer drop, I could not even step outside. The full wall of window though was spectacular!
  12. I was able to make far more use of the CS balcony than I could the EV balcony.
  13. EClass Edge Villa has a full 4 person dining table. Had breakfast several times and lunch as well, plenty of room to spread eveything out and sit and eat comfortably. Only had the PJ's with this suite, I didn't bother to take them home. Summit Celebrity Suite (my fav suite & balcony on any class ship) has a 4 person dining table, again has plenty of room, had several meals here as well. Butler service was very good for the meals and daily charcuterie plates, and for any other requests as well, every day of the cruise. Happy sailing whatever you decide!
  14. Longest was a 14 night TA on EDGE. Have a 15 night TA booked on VV for May 2025 and I am actively looking for a 10 day Mediterranean to follow that from Barcelona.
  15. If by “experience” you mean the ambience then yes it is a lovely location with great aft views if still daylight. To me, the food was very very good but I eat almost anything. I think you should take a look at the menu and then decide if it appeals to you, it is to expensive to just take a chance.
  16. Currently booked (solo) May 3, 2025 TA in XL Sea Terrace. 1. Other than the size of the bathroom, there does not seem to be much difference from the Central ST, is that correct? If that is the only difference, I'd seriously consider changing to Central if I stay at this level suite. 2. My last 3 cruises have been on Celebrity in upper suites, so have had all the benefits of the Retreat. I am considering a Brilliant Suite. 3. How does Richard's Rooftop compare to Celebrity Retreat pool area? I see where it says snacks are available, what does that include, chips, pretzels and the like or can one get lunch up there without having to leave? With so many sea days, I imagine I'd be up there often, weather depending. 4. Does the Rock Star team take care of all restaurant & show reservations, i.e. are they guaranteed or still first come etc? I do not drink alcohol, will they remove it from the room? THX!
  17. I too will be a Virgin virgin on an upcoming 15 day TA. I have watched a number of YT videos but one that I found most helpful by far, was referred here to me by a VV cruiser, vloggers name is Walter. Super detailed and IMO very honest and unbiased.
  18. There really is no need to contact anyone about this beforehand. Just go to the Luminae maitre'd and let him/her know of your request, they will make sure it happens for you for the duration of your cruise.
  19. It also helps them if the responses have a level of maturity and lack of non-stop sarcasm.
  20. Post #3 included the actual Celebrity FAQ
