  1. Just like Vancouver B.C.
  2. Just looking at Regents included Special dining on Explorer Alaska cruises this summer it appears as if Pacific Rim is excluded. The home site mentions it is but the Alaska listings don’t. Just curious.
  3. Keep it up. it is what it is. Enjoying what to eat with no calories. JC
  4. I forgot to mention, I saw people on Regent’s Gala Sunday Brunch actually touching the food to see if it was real, and then walked away.
  5. Glad Crystal wisely ended that complete waste of food, which was never as good as the dining room. What a waste of time for the chefs as well. 👏👏
  6. During the COVID hiatus, I tried (Seabourn, Regent) and now I look forward to returning to my favorite ship Serenity this summer. just IMHO. JC
  7. Watched you sailing into Puerto Vallarta this morning from my terrace. Have enjoyed your daily observations and news. Thanks, JC
  8. Hi, Just check the patio door insulation. if it has worn gaps it may whistle 🫤
  9. Your lucky. Briar 14 a nice couple who lived in the consierge suite below me told me they had the same complaint, and the concierge told them “that’s sea travel”. 🫤
  10. How about the whistling through veranda doors at night? When it is windy. Regents solution was to put tape around the door amd then the balcony was unusable. Good idea???? JC
  11. Go to the Crystal board and read the comments. All sounds good.
  12. Hey Stickman, I was just on Explorer in October and TOTALLY agree with your report. we played a game, where are the chefs? on the Grandeur we figured. 😎
  13. I totally agree with Nobu. Crystal comes close for sure. But I have never had.a fabulous meal on Seabourn or Regent that comes close to 6 stars for the entire meal. Sure one course may be a wow but that’s it. I never leave thinking boy that was sure worth what I’m paying for on this cruise, what a great gourmet evening. So I guess what I mean is that I will still say luxury cruises are by far the best you’re going to get, just don’t expect what is advertised as 6 star dining. Specially restaurants or not. 🫤
  14. Just my opinion, but just off Explorer I would have to say a 6 star dining experience on a ship can never compare to a 6 star rated land restaurant experience. JC
  15. Just off the Explorer and we played a game called Search for the chefs. Were they looking for new ideas? more vegetables? some spices? Some Wows? We concluded they may have left for the Grandeur.
  16. Fantastic detailed review! Can’t wait to get back. thanks, JC
  17. The Lounge also looks like a perfect venue for bridge tournaments where they used to use both Prego and the Bridge room together. 🫤
