  1. It was stated on my enchantment cruise in April and my son works for royal
  2. Discovery class is gonna take over the vision class. Not projected to be huge. Still is going to go out of Tampa as well, so they’ll have to build a ship that can still fit under it.
  3. It’s in dry dock now. My son works on board. He just got off ship to transfer a few days ago. It’s a routine maintenance drydock with other minor things fixed. The outside TV is getting fixed. Many windows were replaced some carpet replaced. A fresh paint job on the outside. It’s not gonna be anything you notice no new amplifications or anything.
  4. Because boarding on oasis class ships is so fast. So you do not need priority boarding. You can literally walk on two minutes after key. Also, each person in the room has to pay money for the key. If you buy multiple devices under one name, it becomes cheaper. You can sit right next to where the key people sit in the main theater. You still have to get there 20 minutes early if you have the key or not so no need for the key in the theater. As far as getting lunch on the first day, you’re getting chops in the main dining room you can buy chops on your own for the first day and actually eat at chops and you will still be cheaper than what you paid for the key. People think oh if the price is around the same as the Internet then it’s good. No, you have to do your research and put in multiple devices under one name. You will see that the price goes down. It’s not the same price at all. Getting off the ship is a breeze as well key people see a huge line and think oh we cut off that line and got out so much quicker. The line moves so fast. We are always off the ship in 15 minutes. This goes for all oasis class. Also, they give you a priority time to go on different different things such flowrider with the key. It’s one time offer during the week at a time that nobody would be going anyway. I can go on and on the key is not needed. The only time I would even consider it is if you are solo cruiser.
  5. Not worth it at all. And is not needed on oasis class at all.
  6. No, we sit right next to the key people never have a problem getting a seat. We get to shows about 20 minutes early. We never need to purchase two Internet packages. We can always just share one, but we each get two days Internet each for free with diamond plus. Plus, it’s always cheaper to buy two Internet packages under one person with multiple devices so it’s just more money you spend on key. Boarding is so easy on oasis class ships now too. We are usually on in 10 minutes so no need to walk on with key when we’re walking right behind them anyway. If you are solo then possibly it would be worth it otherwise I don’t find any value.
  7. Absolutely zero value to us. You still have to get to the show early and those seats are open to anyone five minutes prior. It’s not like they’re great seats either.
  8. You don’t ever step foot in the windjammer on an oasis class ship. Park café is such an awesome spot on the first day. Fresh salad, and sandwiches and hardly anybody
  9. Now he is not an intern but a full time employee working on a ship. With all the details from headquarters Actually our neighbor is a royal captain as well. It’s Michael Bailey that has all the information.
  10. My son works for royal. That’s the information he has
  11. It’s gonna be more of the radiance class. Smaller ships that will be able to get into many ports that the larger ones can’t.
  12. Vision class ships will be sold off or scrapped in four or five years. Royal is going to have a discovery class that is going to be smaller ships like vision class. It’s already in the works.
  13. It shows my number on my wallet, but how long does it generally take before it appears in the app. I wanna change my room and it won’t let me until it’s a signed and shows.
  14. Yes I see my guarantee in my wallet. How long does it generally take to show up on app. I know once I’m assigned a room I can switch my room, but but it still shows it’s under guarantee.

    Massages

Just returned last week. The first place we encountered wanted $50 for one hour massage. I said no, and they asked how much I want to pay. I said $25 for an hour. no negotiating they immediately accepted
  16. It’s not just three dollars a day. The more devices you buy under one name, the price becomes cheaper. So say the Internet is $17.99 a day. If you bought two devices under one name, it is not $17.99 for each. The price goes down. The key not go down everyone in the state room has to pay that price. So I guarantee you you paid more than three dollars per day.
  17. The new class of ships is going to be discovery. The smaller class of ships will retire and a new discovery class will be introduced. Smaller newer ships it’s been out for a while.
  18. No everyone gets internet. When you buy the key every person in stateroom has to buy the key and everyone gets internet. definitely not worth it, though the more devices you buy under one name becomes cheaper
  19. Not close to worth it. It is the easiest boarding process ever on oasis class. I took 10 cruises this last year most out of Miami I went from my car in the parking garage on board in 15 minutes max. That is showing up at 11 o’clock with no key. Everybody in your cabin Hass to purchase the key when you purchase Internet under one person with multiple devices. It comes out cheaper per day so usually the key is a lot more expensive to get lunch on the first day. For the amount of money you’re saving by not purchasing the key, you could go to chops for lunch. Reserve seating at the theater is a joke. Either way you gotta show up early to get decent seats not worth it at all.
  20. Not true. Port price is $25. Royals terminal A is regulated by Royal. They can charge their own rates. Independence has cheaper parking rate because they don’t dock at terminal A. My son work at royal

    Massages

We go every time to beach and get our cheap massages. Last year we paid $40 an hour. We know you can negotiate and tge farther down you go on the beach, the cheaper it tends to get. Does anybody know what the going rate is now?
  22. I went last May and we gave a guy $20. He just said to give him whatever but he was great and hand fed the fish. So it was awesome. At Tabyana beach in west bay.
  23. Keep a travel company. I used to use on that gave free gratuities and cheaper cabin prices because they book you as a group price. I had to start booking through Royal because my son works for royal and we get family rate or free stand bye
