Just got a call from RCI that my Enchantment embarkation on January 2nd will no longer be at the new terminal 1 and will now be terminal 10. T1 was scheduled to open Dec. 27, which was the new date assigned after the opening was delayed by more than a month because of construction problems on the terminal's waterside area. Guess things aren't all straightened out yet.
They are working day and night, Check it out.

Will be on the Adventure of the Seas in 8 days.. We have a stop in St.Thomas.. Anyone know if RCI ship time is the same as island time?
Just back from a 7 day R/T from San Juan, did not change the clock during the cruise, all ports were Atlantic Standard Time.

It is not considered roaming? I am going to check with ATT on that as we will be there next week and I need to check in on some people
Just returned from St. Thomas last Friday, we had ATT coverage on St. Croix, San Juan, St. John, as well as St. Thomas on our cruise, same as the states, no roaming.

Just back on the Jewel of the Seas, could not connect to any free wifi at Havensight last Friday.

Quantam docked in PC this morning, looks like she's at the pier Carnival normally uses.
Choppy waters this morning, this a the Web Cam for the new pier construction for Royal Caribbean.

The problem may only occur when two Royal Caribbean ships are in port, before Dec 27th. I believe that the new Terminal 1 is supposed to be in operation on Dec 27th, and if so, they should not have any issues with changing terminals.
That is the date I also read the new terminal would be operational. This is the live Web Cam of the new RCCL terminal in Port Canaveral, I have been watching the progress over the past couple of months.

Arriving Thanksgiving late afternoon Thursday, Nov 27th, and staying at the Embassy Suites. Does anyone have any local knowledge or links of restaurants that will be open Thanksgiving evening in the area around Embassy Suites.
Open Table has a limited choice, and Embassy Suites has a buffet that ends at 5:00 PM. Any help appreciated. :)

I can't believe the 3 tugs are tied to the inside if the dock!
2 Tugs and the Bermudian Ferry, it is really nasty in Bermuda now.

What are my chances of catching a cab and being at the Ft Lauderdale airport by 1120am on the 21st of December. Coming in on the Regal Princess that day and I have an 1120 flight booked.
I realize August 23, 2014 is not December 21st but we walked off Group A last Saturday from the Caribbean Princess at 7:30 AM and cleared security at FLL at 8:02 AM.
There were plenty of cabs available with minimal wait times. Our flight was 11:15 AM.

The air conditioning issues seem to be resolved (For now). Horizon Court & Internet Cafe are comfortable today, but here and there you will find a hot spot.
We had the same issue on the 7 day August 16th sailing, very hot at times in the Horizon Court, I felt bad for the waiters, they were constantly having to fan themselves.
-
We sailed August 16th out of Fort Lauderdale Pier 2, we are Platinum, arrived 11:45 AM and immediately were able to check in, boarding was delayed.
Elite passengers started boarding around 12:30 PM, we followed and were in our stateroom by 12:50 PM.
-
Currently on board the Caribbean Princess and this is listed under the specialty dining.
Anyone have any experience with this.

We are booked pre cruise in November at the Embassy Suites, there is a Outback Steakhouse downstairs. On previous trips we have eaten at the Chili's Restaurant and Ruth's Chris Steakhouse when we stayed at the InterContinental, all within 2 blocks.
