  1. @1965 another example of Princess favorites menu from the Discovery. I didn’t include every night, but the salmon menu changed quite a few of the nights to how it was served. I know you were asking about the steak but for others that were wondering…It seems to be a different princess favorite menu -ship to ship & night to night.
  2. Here are a few Sun Princess - Princess favorites.
  3. Perhaps you could look at one of the Live From on the particular ship that you are going on. Lots of people post the menus. Seems that not all ships have the same always available menu. I’ve seen a 7 ounce filet mignon for $19 every night in the main dining room, but again, it could very ship to ship ? As far as a steak available every night of your cruise in the main dining room that’s included in your cruise fare, I would say no. But maybe recent cruisers will chime in. I have just been following a few live from’s and they post the menus and I do not see steak every night on their particular ship.
  4. Marco Polo, but there is a port schedule website for your exact cruise & ship. sjport.com
  5. Have friends onboard and heard there was a passenger evacuated by helicopter in the middle of the sea, last night or yesterday.
  6. @iankh Well glad that another cruise line will be able to accommodate your dietary needs. I know I’ve read on this cruise forum under Princess that they do indeed accommodate dietary needs once you’re on board as long as you bring it up the very first time that you dine on the ship. But totally understand that you didn’t get the response from email ,very frustrating of course. Glad you made a decision to take your business elsewhere for your travel needs. Service everywhere is lacking, but definitely not an excuse. And yes, I seek out businesses that have great customer service and highly recommend them when customer service is great. It would also be great after your cruise that you post back on here your experience .Might help others in the future.
  7. @jacketwatch go to sfport.com pier 27 for April 20, 2024 on The Crown.
  8. Here is a phone number for parking concepts, Inc. which I believe they have many parking lots ,but the San Pedro world Cruise terminal is one of them. 310 547-4357 or 949-978-0665.
  9. The Princess bridgecam is way behind. Emerald Princess has been in Ensenada all day. They leave soon for arrival in San Pedro tomorrow. Heard The Captain on The Emerald is leaving possibly tomorrow and taking vacation then on another ship? Or back to Emerald.
  10. One more piece of information… CD the Kevin & I am assuming his wife who is a singer or dancer or both after their time off will be leaving the Emerald and going to the Grand.
  11. Captains Circle numbers- approximately….3110 passengers 322 Elite 523 Ruby 608 Platinum 656 Gold Most traveled - 2,617 days, not sure on the top 3 numbers. Maybe next is 298 or 305. Steve Morris entertainer is onboard Still cool outside weather wise, did not elude to wave conditions That is all I have to report from a family member that is onboard and it sounds like they’re having a very relaxing time and not much to add for CC.
  12. Saturday night 3-30-24 was the marriage game.3 couples along with CD and wife- typical and entertaining. $10. Items out on deck 7 for shopping pleasure. Tonight 3/31/24 is production show Magic to do. Seas rough as sort of expected. Skywalkers for evening PES not many people attend. Very chill cruise -passenger wise.
  13. @esstheman CD-sorry family member onboard just says it’s a guy. Name?
  14. I have a family member on Emerald P. now. They paid $79.00 for a Regular manicure( natural nails) +12%. And they got 10% off for being elite. They did not have shellac on their nails just regular polish as far as they know. Maybe it was fire & ice??? They had obc to use up.
  15. A few more of what is happening…. today Mumford & Sons live from South Africa on MUTS. a complementary liquid tasting from 5:30pm to 7 PM. I believe today Wednesday at the shops called essentials. Of course there’s live music in the Piazza. Kevin Brando is in Crooners on piano. Topaz is the party band. Tonight, which is Wednesday there is a comedian named Miguel Washington in the theater and I still call it the Princess Patters but apparently it’s still being called Princess event listings and it’s one page long and that’s it. Louis Ramos is in the wheelhouse playing some kind of music. The elite, platinum, & suite event for appetizers and drinks is in Sky Walkers in the evening . Family has been to Kauai a few times,so they stayed onboard. I believe there’s nothing really to see or walk to around the port area. That is all I have to report from family onboard.
  16. @Worn out mailman yes Internet only is $24.99 per day, per voyage ,per person for 1 device at a time. unless you are platinum or elite which I don’t think you are or you would know about it and it’s 50% off of that price. As others have said, wait to get onboard to add perhaps the plus package $60.00/ person per day. if that fits your budget.
  17. Found this under someone’s travel website. I don’t know how old these prices are ,but I believe a basic manicure plus the shellac would be $69 plus the mandatory gratuity.( maybe) I would think you could get this done anywhere in your home state/city for way cheaper. If you have lots of onboard credit, then no worry on the price .Are you able to look under your cruise personalize and pretend like you are booking a spa/nail appointment? That may give you the price .
  18. Yes, my family members are Elite .I just know they told me April 1st is their party at 7 PM. Haven’t really heard much about the cruise from them. Was hoping to get some patters, but that hasn’t happened. Yes ,I think there are quite a few captains circle parties, depending on what level you are at. I don’t have much information other than what pertains to them.
  19. I believe that least expensive room they can get for this 30 day cruise for a solo is $1624+ taxes, etc. ( I believe at this point it’s guarantee rooms only )If I had 30 days to be away ,it would be enticing to me as well. I’ve never cruised solo. Don’t know if I would ,I’m very social. But I would think the Flights to and from would cost more than the cruise itself ,but I say go for it to the OP . Can always go up or down a deck to get outside. Lots of people like the interior cabins -they can sleep longer because it’s dark and of course they like the interior room because then they can do other things with their money. Hope the OP lets us know if they booked or not. Definitely sounds like a great price.
  20. @Mrcruiser you must have “ hit” the rush in parking at San Pedro last year. I have parked there and been dropped off numerous times and very easy. Who knows what the port will do as far as the parking lot ,but I think it’s working the way it is .so I doubt that they would build a parking structure at this point, but they don’t usually share that information with us cruisers too far in advance. Try it again and cruise & park from berth 92/93.( world cruise terminal) parking lot is plentiful even with 2 ships in and out over the course of a week or two.
  21. April 1st is the Capains circle parties. No formal dress that evening ,smart casual. A few “ kids” onboard, even though this is a two weeks cruise some school-age children are off for two weeks from school, some are homeschooled, etc. My family has not visited the casual dining venues that are included in their plus ,so I can’t comment on any of that. They said Honolulu is warm, but not too hot and they are just winging it today and walking with no agenda. Just enjoying the day. .
  22. @Mintycake I see Gastropub and Vines on the deck plans,so this may be the only casual dining onboard. I have family members onboard now , I’ll try to see if they can give me an answer ,but who knows ,they’re probably having way too much fun on their vacation. Maybe planks and steamers too?
  23. I don’t have much to add…. Monday ,March 25th in Explorers lounge was a show/ event called Living Battle. Trivia type game. Family said it was ok. I don’t know if it was during the daytime or the evening. Maybe more onboard will add to this thread??
