  1. Who knows, what those boys were looking for? I did see them pull out a table and chair. I am sure they were told to take that back to the dumpster.
  2. Almost as fun as logging on at midnight to get an early boarding time, I had to log on at 6 am this morning to get my Disney dining reservations for August. Yes, I really know where I want to eat, and what time I want to eat, that far in advance! Now to revise my spreadsheet, because I had to change days for some of them to get a decent time. I can’t wait for the joy of booking rides!
  3. Our grandkids have a multi-level playhouse in their back yard. Robins had built a nest in the upper level, and there are three eggs in it. When we came home from the movies today, there was a hawk perched on top of that level, and both robins were diving at the hawk, trying to drive it away. The kids got out of the car and ran to scare the hawk away from the nest. It probably doesn’t look good for those eggs, now that the hawk has discovered it.
  4. That was what we initially thought, and that is what they said. The mother came back for it at the end of the day. It was amazing how still it stayed.
  5. We found a newborn a couple years ago. The mother left it under a picnic table. You can tell the size better when compared to Susan’s hand.
  6. Congratulations on the new addition. Wishing him a happy and healthy life, and hoping you have many enjoyable adventures with him.
  7. Rainy day plan change included lunch out. Double smash burger for me. Then took our daughter and grandkids to the movies. Didn’t see Garfield, but it would have been a much better choice than IF. Susan thought the grandkids might like a movie about Imaginary Friends, but neither of us had researched the plot, and if we had, we would not have gone. Given what happened to the child’s mother, it was not a good subject, given our last couple years.
  8. Will do, but it probably will not start till after we bring our grandson from California here. Several fun things planned. We had planned on Kennywood Amusement park today, but rain changed our plans. It would have just been us with our daughter and her two kids. I just picked her up at the airport this morning from her ‘girls Florida trip ‘ with our granddaughter. They had lots of fun.
  9. Sorry to hear you got that. Some people must be more susceptible to getting it. We have poison ivy along the wooded edge of our property. We were playing kickball with the grandkids last weekend, and the ball ended up going through some. Both Susan and my son-in-law got it just from the transfer from the ball. It has never had an affect on me.
  10. We took our grandson to Dick’s House of Sport this morning. That place is huge. Spent some time in the batting simulator. Then, he picked out a new glove. You don’t want to know how much these are. And, of course, there is always room for Cheesecake Factory cheesecake.
  11. That’s right, three. By this time next week, we will be in California to see the other one and bring him here for the summer.
  12. Well, I was thinking of getting some Daryl magnets made for our doors, when we take the grandkids on the cruise this summer. Now I am wondering it those may have an unintended meaning?
  13. On our last cruise, our table mates told us they just found out what it meant. They had been turning pineapples right side up on some cabin doors, because they thought some kids had turned them upside down. That was when someone told them what they meant. 😂
  14. By the time the haze burned off, it turned out to be a beautiful day. We picked up our grandson and took him to breakfast, on his first day of summer vacation. Then he helped me as I got our boat ready for the water. I was just talking about having it in the water in March, when I first bought it, and now the first sailing of the season is JUNE! Anyhow, he enjoyed a little fishing. And, I encouraged some law breaking. Well, he is just a few months shy of being old enough to operate on his own. I will probably get him to do the boat safety course this fall, so he will be ready to go next summer.
  15. I have been searching the urban dictionary to see if I inadvertently said something in the posts. Yes, I was quoted on two different posts by them, on our roll call. And at the bottom, after the ‘let’s chat’, it was just signed ‘Sting’ Maybe it is some kind of Message in a bottle. Should I call the Police?
  16. Hmmmm, after looking at their avitar, I am leery of responding. Although I have been known to play well with others. Just not the pineapple way. 😂
  17. Yes she did. Celebrating continues. I have been getting lots of pictures of her and my granddaughter having a good time in Florida. They even spotted a giant Daryl. 😂😂
  18. That is the Jerk chicken pineapple bowl, so it does have jerk seasoning to add some flavor. That has become one of my favorites. It also has rice, pineapple, and sweet peppers in it.
  19. You don’t need to carry all your cash with you. Take only what you plan to spend for the day, and leave the rest behind in the cabin safe. Use a credit card that doesn’t have foreign transaction fees for most things. If buying at street vendors or flea markets, you will want cash.
  20. She did find some nice towels that have several colors, and they go well with everything. As far as white, one set of curtains we tried was white. It was too white, and neither of us liked it. Also tried a cream shade, and it still didn’t make the cut. I hope the next room I decorate is with my clothes and on a cruise ship. Hopefully no more changes here.
  21. That is Bahama Breeze in Pittsburgh. We stopped after dropping off our daughter and granddaughter at the airport. Bahama Breeze is part of the Darden Restaurant brand that also has Longhorn Steakhouse, Olive Garden, Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, among others. The first one we ate at was in Ft. Lauderdale. I think it is a good place for both kids, and adults. The prices aren’t too bad, and they didn’t seem to skimp on the alcohol.
