From the UK and sailed out of San Juan every winter for 17 years - never had a problem and always English spoken first on board. Just got back from 6 weeks on the Jewel and far less guests from Puerto Rico than in previous years

It was a bit slow clearing after the Thanksgiving cruise but I’m hoping it’s back to those sort of times this month

Was on Jewel in November and boarding was much earlier than 3pm - they wanted the ship cleared by 9.30

Just had notification that Rhapsody, sailing from San Juan, has been chartered for 3 consecutive cruises starting 16 February 2025 - has anyone any idea who this could be??

That’s my problem, I tend to hear everything and once I’m awake…… yuk!!

I know what you mean about the beds but I’m used to aft cabins, just not the amount of noise I experienced on the Brilliance

That’s good to know as I did have problems about 2am with a cabin in the middle of the aft on Brilliance last year on deck 10. I’d already booked 1100 when this happened

Of course I meant ear plugs!!

I’ve 6 weeks in 1100 in January, so I think I’d better take earth plugs

Prices have definitely gone crazy - just looked at an 11 night cruise, Barcelona to Athens - as I now have to travel alone, it was going to be £5,500 for a balcony. Needless to say, I haven’t booked!!
