Royal has been a pita on anything with cords. I've had a simple small extension cord with several places to plug into confiscated. I need to bring something royal wouldnt take, Ok touchstonefeste I'll look for a name brand though I'm not sure what or where to look for what you say it should say. I am not very tech and just simply plug in my charge cords, I dont even do ubs charging. Just plug them into a outlet. First TA obviously, 2 legs and then 4 days in rome is beginning to feel overly complicated.

My specialty is catching falling knives. I bought enough UPS at the bottom of the sell off, low on cash so as I posted above only bought 100 more rcl. UPS showed a 5.15% dividend so a safety pick which I doubt goes lower. Same for RCL. It hurt to pay over 152.xx a share, but I pulled cash to close on my new condo. So far I called the bottom on rcl too. 16 pe, and even if earnings arent 27% yoy still up. Pe will drop as earnings are increased. Imo. ..still hard to buy even this high, but I bet it goes higher not lower. 50 years trading and chart experience. Each of us brings different skills to the table I know. I catch falling knives. Imo there wasnt a reason for rcl to sell off like it did on earnings, just nervous nellies sold.

Actually if my balcony was in the sun I'd hardly use it at all. My doctor says no sun which of course I do get sun, but I dont sit in the sun. I've had maybe a dozen MOHS surgeries already. If the sun is on my balcony its ruined. I like to see the weather and often all my balcony is is a window to see outside. For this TA a balcony was $30 more than a inside and I lose $50 obc when I book a balcony that a inside gets. I think it's my balcony discount isnt combinable with early booking obc but I could be wrong which isnt combinable. Usually i have plenty of obc to cover solo tips, but 13 days only $100 stock obc so it's my only cruise not even enough obc to cover $18 x 13 days = $234. $150 obc falls short to even cover tips. Just one of many things why this cruise is adding up to more and more dollars over just the cost of the cruise which started off as a bargain. OP find a TA with group rates, that will help a lot. Booking direct is a lot more. I wouldnt even be doing the 2nd leg booking direct. 2nd leg was 5k booking direct keeping my cabin. Or $2700 group D+ and DP340 solo. Or inside. Moving across the hall 2nd leg to save money on port intensive leg. Whomever said TAs a bargain, lol. Plus 4 night in rome.

Yes I meant non refundable.. spell check took off the able from the end of the word but it's obvious that's what I meant. Also if you book refundable at next cruise the obc is reduced. .. besides requiring full deposits. Not sure what smokey means they dont offer any onboard promos. I'm booked on wonder from next cruise. I got $75 obc instead of $100, but you do get some obc. Just reduced.

I'm booked the pool deck forward of the pool in a regular balcony. I booked so long ago all the decks were open. My TA put me back toward the elevator and said sometimes TAs can be windy. Idk as voyager will be my first TA, though I'm pretty sure ive done voyager long time ago. I'm not worried at all about the age. I did grandeur a year or so ago. I know voyager much newer. I'm booked next may for 2 legs. Seems to me to be so complicated to do this cruise. Booked in rome 4 days after. Worry about hotel and excursions there and euros and flight home was overly expensive thru air2sea. They wanted $1510 and up one way from rome to orlando so I booked on my own to miami and now booked in miami and taking brightline to orlando. As I said it seems so complicated. We will see if I ever do this again. I always heard TAs were cheap but this one has taken on a life of it's own.

Next cruise onboard offers half deposits but only for nonrefundable bookings. I only book refundable group rates which carnival doesnt offer as good of deals for group rates. Next cruise isnt worth much to me, but if you book direct it's ok. Royal doesnt have rates like carnival where you can match rates after final payment either.

You call whomever you booked with to make changes to your booking. Always. My TA would move me, dont know about yours. He says easy to do himself.

Its the one port it is highly discouraged. The fact they have donkeys and cable cars says to me this is too steep to walk. They provide transportation that takes approx 45 minutes to drive to Oia. Someone on my roll call mentioned maybe getting a group together. To share the cost. I read Oia is as good as the post cards make it look. I believe this is the same excursion I signed up for. Except he is on a celebrity ship. He stopped 2 hours to eat dinner in Kira and almost missed the last cable car at 8:45 pm. Its offered at 7:45 am and 1:30 pm. I first signed up for 7:45 and decided that would stress me so early and now also have the 1:30 pm slot which imo this reviewer also has. Oia on your own also goes thru kira. Kira on your own does not mention going to oia. More time in Kira. I want to see both. I'd say if it's not out for 2025 it's not coming. Might need to look at another line.

I have the choice Oia on your own or Fira on your own. Oia on your own the bus on the backside goes thru Fira so 2 in 1. Fira on your own only mentions Fira not both. Oia on your own was about $10 more so I cancelled Fira on your own and changed to Olia on your own. I'll be on voyager OTS next may and both choices now open.

I've got "Oia on your own", but it goes to Fira on the backside on the way back. Same 4 hours 45 minutes. If we dont go back from Fira I read we can take the cable cars. But if we stay with the tour they drive us bsck. " The drive between Old Port and Oia is approximately 45 minutes each way."

There shouldnt be 10% tax. If the cost was $65 per day it should be that x days plus 18%.

On the other hand my flight home from rome leaves at 10:30 in the morning and arrives at 6:45 in the evening so I'm not losing 5 or 6 hours flying there and flying during the night. I get in call the hotel shuttle and find something to eat and go to bed until the next morning.

I knew icon was built with more cabins that hold 3 or 4 people, to fit more families into one cabin but 132% capacity. Yikes.

I'd rather have the long flight after my cruise so I dont have to worry about if the flight is late or gets cancelled. I'm leaving from PC my home port and calling uber, but flying home after. Next may on voyager. Some like the weather the other way around better. I'm more worried about my flight getting delayed or cancelled.

Imo other than the extra space which you could also get with the spacious balcony, the extra loyalty point. Some want to level up their loyalty level faster. I've been tempted. I'd pay a little more but mostly a JS is double when I price it.

Of course the suite lounge isnt the crown lounge or diamond lounge. I'm seeing diamond lounge signs taken down and crown lounge signs up on several ships. Havent paid more attention than that but of course I knew not the same as suite lounge.

I bought 100 more shares today 152.57. Pe of 16 showing. My thinking is with star coming and utopia just starting to sail, revenues will grow and a 16 pe is so low that I dont see a lot of downside. I'm one who looks at the pe. Peg is useful but getting harder to find. Peg being the combination of pe and growth for those who arent into stocks. As far as rhe consumer continuing to spend there are cracks. Home equity loans are up. Home sales are down. So people are borrowing against their homes but not moving as much. Almost for sure there will be a rate cut in sept but at .25 how much will it due, need .75 they say to help home sales. Everyone is waiting for rate cuts to start. Interest rates on credit cards continue to rise to 30% and one lady today said one of hers was now 38%. I think it sold off due to fear revenues growth will start to slow down, not because it has yet. Fear .. we all know the jump from last year was big because cruise fares are back over what we used to pay and higher, but the increases have to slow down.
