Yea, that's the Passport Card.  Perhaps that person misspoke when they used the term "passbook".

We requested they get passports, their parents got them passbooks 😕. We are also waiting on one of the passbooks (application sent in April), social security number was wrong. We will bring certified birth certificates as well I guess. And just hope nothing happens that we would need to fly home.

Our grandchildren, 13 and 11 will be coming with us New York to Eastern Caribbean on Venezia. Carnival rep told me we don’t need a permission letter or anything like that which I find hard to believe.  We want to cover all bases, if we get a notarized statement that gives permission to bring them on the cruise and medical treatment if necessary, signed by both parents…do we need to sign it as well?   What have those of you in this position done in the past?

We did this last year and it was not as easy as it seemed before the cruise. First of all,Celebrity does not offer any type of transfer between ships.   We decided to wait until the last minute to leave the Apex at terminal 25 since we were embarking on the Reflection at 19.  BIG MISTAKE waiting so long.  The Police and Sheriffs deputies do not allow anyone to walk to terminal 19 as there are no sidewalks.    It really is very dangerous.  We also thought that we would get a taxi to just take us between the terminals.  Once outside there was a Princess ship disembarking at the same time and they let everyone off the ship at the same time.  The line for the taxi was 20-30 people deep.  By that time (about 9:30-10:00) you encounter people disembarking and also people showing up to embark.  If we had to do it all over we would walk off first thing, have a waiting taxi take us to the next terminal and just wait it out.  We eventually flagged down a driver of a shuttle to an off site parking garage, offered him a generous tip and he took us.  Good luck.

Oops yes, Ft Lauderdale.  Probably a silly question, but we take our luggage with us-it’s not taken to the next ship automatically?

We are doing our first side by side cruise, starting off with the Eclipse 1/2-11, and then jumping onto the Apex 1/11-18. Will Celebrity transfer us from one ship to another? The Celebrity rep I talked to said just let guest services know when you board and they’ll take care of it.  I just want to make sure this info is correct.

We are cruising on the Eclipse. We have #7206 which is a deluxe veranda.  I’ve put in for an upgrade for a sunset veranda. Now I’m second guessing myself.  Personal opinions please would you prefer the deluxe or sunset? Why?

Thank you, I’ve called twice already today.  The answer I’d like most would be do the offer codes have to be exactly the same, I’ve read somewhere they don’t-but that could be another cruise line.

I have a free interior room offer, my husband has $100 off offer.  Would they be combineable if the same code AND does the code have to be exactly the same? We did pay for an upgrade.

😂 I’ll take my drink into dinner, and elsewhere. Also hoping I can stock up on bottled water and coke from the casino bar. Guess I might be spending a lot of time in there. lol

One of the things read was that they do not participate in the move up program.  If they don’t other large TAs may also be doing the same.

Interesting, I did not know that. We usually book thru on line TA. this cruise is a casino offer so we booked right through Celebrity Blue Chip.

We’ve always cruised with another couple so have never tried to do move up.  Where do I go to iniate a bid?

Sitting here in Ft Lauderdale watching ships leave. Reflection left about 4:30, got out past  jetty,  but it has been stationary for about 45 minutes and is pointed back to shore.  Anyone know what is happening?

Im finding a fare of $36 for a taxi from the airport to Canada Place, however I can’t find if that ride is just for 2 people or would it be the same with 4 people?  Anybody know please?
