  1. It is confusing and inconsistent. I won bid up on three suites on a B2B2B and each one was different. Go figure. We had purchased basic wifi, classic drink package and prepaid grats for the first two weeks. The last week we added while on the ship and it had no extras. Sky Suite first upgrade, we received, without extra charge, premium drinks and wifi. We did pay the difference in tips (we actually paid extra tips for all three weeks). My understanding is that this is not how it is supposed to happen. The second week in an Edge Villa we also got premium drinks and wifi on several devices, without paying an up-charge. We were able to eat in any restaurant without charge. The third week we moved from a OV to a SS and we received no drink package or wifi. The things that remained consistent, there were no charges for drinks on the retreat deck or in the retreat lounge. We didn't order drinks in Luminae, but we would have been charged for them week three. I'm not sure I clarified anything. I lived it and still can't figure it out. Worse case, you have Elite Happy Hour, breakfast, drinks on the sundeck and lounge. If you need Wifi you can purchase it once on the ship.
  2. Can never get my mind around this thought process. Celebrity is following the terms you agreed to. In no way is this a ripoff. Just think about how good you would feel if the price went up. I doubt you'd be calling and requesting to pay more.
  3. We boarded the Ascent on the 14th of January for three weeks and haven't received an email.
  4. We had three weeks of move-ups on the Ascent. We had bought the premium drink package (pre move up) for the first two, received a refund (post move up) and received premium beverage package for those two weeks. This was for a Sky Suite and an Edge Villa. The third week we booked on board and then bought an upgrade to a Sky Suite shortly after the ship had sailed, we did not get the premium beverage. We had not purchased premium wifi for any of the three weeks, but did receive it in the Edge Villa. Just pointing out that Celebrity is a bit inconsistent.
  5. Depends on what you're looking for in a spa. I love the infrared sauna. I also enjoyed many mornings on the heated loungers.
  6. I did the same at some places in the Seaport area of Boston and found the same. Boston is not a cheap city. There were only a few exact matches, but most wines by the glass were between 13-18$. Very few over 22$. These are expensive places that gear toward people on expense accounts.
  7. People who can afford the PH, very often can because they've kept track of the "couple of bucks" for years.

  9. Always the tipping point for me. Now it's being noted they are upcharging, telling you, but not giving you a receipt to sign. So you have to keep track of that. Sitting on the end of the bed, looking at the TV and trying to remember how many glasses of wine you had and what the charges should be as the sea passes by.
  10. I don't think it ever has been. I've been upcharged for certain wines through the years in Luminae. There is no way with Caymus on the menu there isn't going to be an upcharge.
  11. Having no receipt must make it very hard to keep track of.
  12. Both Veuve ($25) and Caymus ($35) are on the Luminae wine list by the glass.
  13. The wines listed in Luminae, by the glass for my Ascent cruise, show 9 within PBP and 9 that will be an upcharge. Based on her email, is she is stating all wines listed will be included if you have a suite and the PBP or am I misreading?
