  1. I need to get a better PVP! The one I have used in the past always told me to fill out the form. I have also read on here about how much attention some of y'all get from your PVP. Guess they are all not cut from the same cloth!
  2. If your booking is eligible, fill out the form at the link below. Bookings done under casino offers or some of the other "sales" will generally not be granted a price reduction approval. https://www.carnival.com/core/requestforms/priceprotection.aspx If for some reason the mods remove the link to the Carnival form, just do a google search for "Carnival price protection". Consider yourself fortunate if they give you credit/refund for the difference in price. Prices dropping is mostly a thing of the past. A lot of us on here miss the days where booking 1+ years out almost guaranteed a price drop before sailing date.
  3. Not sure what you are trying to say above with the statement about "after the first person" and "(only the first two people)". Maybe you meant to say "after the first meal"? Directly from Carnival website: "Great news: on Carnival Celebration and Mardi Gras, your first meal at Cucina del Capitano is on the house… and additional visits are just $8! Extra-great news: on Carnival Jubilee, they’re all free!" We were on Mardi Gras last May and everyone was able to eat at cucina once for free and $8 each time after the first free meal. Looks like Jubilee is free for multiple visits by all passengers (similar to the first year on Mardi Gras).
  4. Carnival made the cutoff at 15 days or less for no tests for vaccinated guests. https://www.carnival.com/Legal/covid-19-legal-notices/covid-19-guest-protocols?icid=advisory_cruisehealth_040122
  5. We were on the Panorama in March and did not dock in Long Beach until after 9:30. There are so many factors that can and often do effect the ship docking "on time". Weather, rescue assist, problems at the dock itself could all change the time of arrival. All posted times are estimates. It could dock at 8 or even 10. Booking early flights on debarkation day is a dangerous game to play. Besides the 25ish miles between port of LB and LAX is a crapshoot itself. The drive could take 30 minutes or 3 hours. LA traffic is a nightmare!
  6. That was our exact experience on Panorama in March. At $5 per person, Carnival and gathered plenty of funds to upgrade their equipment and make the chat work!
