  1. Premium can also get glass bottles of water….Aqua Panna or Vennnoo
  2. My dislike of edge has been voiced here and elsewhere. I recommend solstice it for no other reason than the sky lounge for the amazing views of Alaska.
  3. It’s a one off itinerary, the Canal transit is on many bucket lists, it’s 15 days during the school year so you can practically be assured there won’t be any children on board, so very appealing to experienced Celebrity cruisers who have done the Caribbean to death and want something different but don’t want to do a transatlantic
  4. Not necessary to book on board to get that. You just need to have cruised before with Celebrity.
  5. Amazing how you can remember what you were like as a toddler. I do well to remember what I did last week😀
  6. As I understand it dinner suit is what the British call a tuxedo. Last night there were several sightings and also half a dozen men in kilts.
  7. The price of the cruise will be the same with you work from home or on board. The deals will be the lower deposit amount, and some extra onboard credit as an incentive to book on board.
  8. You might consider bringing your own sheets and towels then😵‍💫
  9. Captains Club generally sends this on first chic night. I think Elite and above get them.
  10. There’s always a chance but you won’t know until you try. Some have been successful, others not.
  11. No there isn’t, AFAIK Once you are on board, if you don’t like the way that the monies were distributed you can transfer them from one passenger to another.
  12. Ask your TA how much they gave. Then look at your booking and subtract out. The rest will be non refundable. or go to the booking on the website and you will see the total amount of OBC so subtract out the TA’s part to get to the non refundable.
  13. The term “formal” is no longer used on Celebrity. Expect two chic nights on your cruise.
  14. I suspect that a more accurate description of the situation would be that the hotel canceled on Celebrity, and then Celebrity had no choice but to cancel the cruise tour. It’s a real shame, but many hotels and resorts seem to be having staffing problems.
  15. It does not go back as REWARDS points. You have cashed the points to get on board credit. It is refundable so it will either go back to your credit card bill or you can ask for it in cash at the front desk on the last night
  16. Not really. It’s a 15 night cruise and they just arranged a little differently than the usual pattern, but not a big deal. Our second chic night is tonight.
  17. Yes there was. We are now on Mountain Time however there is an odd thing regarding clocks. The schedule we were given on the first day says that we change the time again back to Central time to go to Puerto Vallarta, but I don’t think that’s correct. I will be checking on this at guest relations later today
  18. No it’s more of a sign that this is a Cruise Itinerary that attracts experienced cruisers
  19. Probably. First of all, check your cruise history and her cruise history on the My Celebrity page. If she is missing some cruises, you may have to provide some documentation, like old sea pass cards or old booking information or old welcome aboard photos. Contact Captains Club and they will tell you how you should go about proving that she was on those cruises.
  20. Yes, the guest speaker announced this morning that the cargo ships ability to carry goods is limited to about 90% due to the lack of rain to refill the lake, which reduces the revenue Panama makes
  21. The helipad is open to all today, with no invitations needed. And you can come and go as you please. It is not a privilege for just retreat guests.
