  1. I’m not sure if this is really your first post or not and I’m so sorry this is happening to you but please tell us a little bit more. When is the cruise?
  2. Never the last night. But the first one could be on either day two or day three and there isn’t any real good with
  3. I think she has only posted one so far and it was from embarkation day on about page 12
  4. Celebrity has a strict “no smoking indoors” policy so no smoking in any state room or in the casino or any of the public areas. Also no smoking on balconies.
  5. It might help if you tell us when you’re cruising
  6. I doubt if there is room for a shower stool. Suggest you try the Accessible Cruising Forum where you might get further information.
  7. And that emphasizes the reason why if you’re not going to eat in blue, you should let the Maitre D know. Suite passengers can eat there on a space available basis and they need to be able to evaluate how much space is available. So if you were going to eat in the main dining room, or a specialty, on any given night, letting them know helps them to be able to accommodate everybody who wants to eat in Blu.
  8. No, not always. This may be possible on an M or S class ship, not not on an E class ship
  9. Maybe the OP is just traveling with friends who are not in Aqua and they all want to eat together
  10. I’m really surprised you were able to check in so far advance. But the wacky app behaves oddly. If you still see your 11 am time that’s all you need
  11. Your activities staff probably include FLori and Dom. They are two of the best. You may not normally go to trivia and name that tune but if Dom is on board, try to get to his name that tune on the last day. It will probably be in the program as movie themes. Even if you don’t know anything about movie themes or you don’t want to play, go that day just to see him do that game. I don’t want to give any spoilers away, but he is definitely worth seeing that day😀😃
  12. Celebrity is inconsistent to be sure, but the law is very different from port to port and some of the responsibility for the inconsistencies lies there. Australia and New Zealand have incredibly strict rules about bringing food on or off the ship. They take bio security very seriously. The OP is inquiring about France. Limitations there are probably much looser, and the bakery products will probably be allowed but do not be surprised if they are not.
  13. The app’s information is limited. And quite often inaccurate. Do not depend on it. norwaylady gave a complete and correct answer — live music, not backing tracks
  14. Your roommate and you should check in together. That being said, there is no longer a special check in line for elite or for Aqua like there used to be. Nor is there a special elite pre-departure lounge any more. Now it’s all done by arrival time, and you can choose your time on the app so just make sure you all have the same time. If it should happen that you can’t get the same time, just go together at whichever time is best.
  15. There’s no charge, but since you do not have an assigned table in the main dining room, you should coordinate with the blu staff who can find out for you when the MDR can fit you in. Don’t just show up at the main dining room because once they see your Aqua card they will likely send you to blu.
  16. Many people report their ankles swelling, but in truth, it isn’t from the water. It’s from the food. The water is desalinated. But many people don’t use a lot of salt on there food at home and react badly to the salted food served in the dining room and buffet. And if you think about it, you can’t really avoid the water on the ship because it is used to make the ice cubes, the soup, the juice drink, the lemonade, the iced tea, the coffee, etc.
  17. Perhaps two things got completed, the April 21 cruise contract update and the topic of bringing wine a board. The first changed, the second didn’t
  18. It was held in Sky Lounge on Eclipse last month. Big crowd but well staffed and the entertainment was terrific.
