We loved the Edge - the ship is beautiful, lots of open spaces to relax, the decor is "fresh" - simple elegance. Lots of food venues and MDR choices (try them all). We enjoy Cafe al Bacio a lot. Our cabin of choice is a full balcony - not the infinite verandas.

Thanks for your feedback.  All the best. Cheers

We will have our first cruises (B2B) on the Equinox in January of 2025 out of Port Canaveral. I hope that some / most of the issues will be addressed and corrected by this time. We have cruised on the Eclipse, Millennium, Summit, Infinity, Edge and this coming February on the Constellation.

out of all the ships you mention;  which was your favorite and why?

  3. Hi let me chime in for the OP.

    1.  If you have a Iphone you can use wifi calling using the ships wifi while at sea.  You also have facetime on the Iphone which allows you to call or receive calls via video on your iphone

    2. If you have an android phone download Whatsapp which will allow the same wifi and facetime calling as the iphone.

    3.  I own an iphone and use facetime a lot.  We were in europe in July and used it about five times

I also have whats app for those people back in the states who don't have an iphone

4,  If you are on ships wifi or shoreside wifi; you won't have any charges on your phone when you return home.  Remember to set all this up before you leave on your cruise.  On the iphone you can do this in settings

** Hope this clarifies things for you.  Cheers

  4. Hi I sailed Celebrity Apex in March.  I am 71;  half the passengers on this sailing were under 50.  I loved all the twenty somethings whom I spoke with every morning at breakfast.  We all had fun and none of the teens were out of control or overly noisy.  It's all good and I am glad my health allows me to sail at all.  So cheers to those who are over 60 and those under 50.

  5. Hello everyone.  I just returned from my first river cruise.  As the title mentioned my wife and I plus thirty of our friends sailed AMACerto.  Our cruise started in Basel and we sailed both the Rhine and Moselle rivers. We ended the cruise in Amsterdam.  I did not know what to expect; we did not do a lot of research on river cruising; other than all the locks you have to pass through.  Let me start by saying we booked a cabin on deck three and it had both french and sit out balcony.  The staff onboard made sure we were happy all the time.  Any requests were filled right away.  The cruise director was great;  he organized all the tours to include departure bus and escort to airport.  The ship was beautiful, the food was excellent, and the lounge was perfect for meeting new people.  The weather was great; it was around 80 each day with no rain.  Tours were organized well and were not too long.  They ran between 2-3 hours and you were back onboard in time for lunch and dinner.  We only had one day where we toured in morning then sailed and toured at night.  This was a relaxing cruise and we met a few new people.  Since we had such a wonderful time we took advantage of putting a down payment on another cruise next year.  The Danube; again 10 nights with three nights pre-cruise in Prague.  We end in Budapest.  I hope everyone here had an exciting first river cruise no matter which line you choose.  Cheers

    Hmmm...that's a tough question!

I'm gonna go with Copenhagen.  Kronborg Castle and Tivoli were two big highlights.

After that, Visby because of our experience at the sheep farm!

My favorite place of the entire trip was Giethoorn in the Netherlands.  Not a port stop, but 1.5 hour drive from Amsterdam.

Thank you for your feedback.  I did read about your day trip to Giethoorn; and I saw you had a great day.  Cheers

    Hi AF-1

Thanks for watching. It's not as good as the real thing, but it's all we can do at present until better times are here again.

Sorry the Queen Victoria didn't play. Not sure why because it works here in the UK.
