We upgraded from a CC/RC mini-suite to a full suite for our 1st cruise in July and were able to book our included 1st night specialty dining on the app without having to pay upfront.  It showed a credit and zero due.  I've read that some people have had trouble booking it in advance, but it's worth a shot!

I would book in app.  Thanks and have a wonderful trip

I was asking who was actually providing the shuttle they took for $10/pp. There was no indication who's service they were using. My July sailing will also includes Belfast. We port on a Sunday so we may do a 90 minutes Troubles Mural Taxi Tour in the morning and then be dropped of in the City Center.

Got it.  I assume it was shuttle from the celebrity dock to town.  There is a drop off point in town.  That's my assumption;  most likely I am wrong

The best port of call in the world (I am biased),too much to see in one day.

The last photo shows the ‘Three Graces’….The Liver Building with the famous Liver Birds atop,,,,The Cunard Building where passengers checked in for their emigration to the ‘New World’ on White Star or Cunard liners,,,,the third is the Liverpool Port Authority building.

Let’s see you photographed with the Fab Four on the Pier Head. The white building further along is the Museum of Liverpool a real gem.

Further along is the Albert Dock with its many shops and restaurants.

    Enjoy our great Northern city.

Lol. I wish we could pack that light.  We took one large, one medium, and one small suitcase on our recent cruise.

When we flew home we had two large and one medium suitcase, the small one was inside a new large one we had shipped to our son's house.  When I checked the bags for our flight home the two large were 56-lbs each and the medium one was 39-lbs.

Am I correct that int'l baggage allowance is 75lbs per bag?

We always pack for 7 days Plus Jacket, dress pants and dress shows - Regardless of Cruise Lenght.  One Suite Case each - Back Pack for me and Hand Bag for Iain.

We do have an advantage to many others because we can swap off.

Usually the bags come in at about 45 Pounds.... all my electronics probably account for 20% of my allocation.

    Thanks for your explanation

  6. I sailed Celebrity for the first time in March.  Was on same cruise as OP on Apex.  I enjoyed the ship and the entertainment.  I have skin cancer so don't hang out by pool.  I believe the ship was either full or almost full capacity and it was spring break with lots of kids.  I would talk to the teenagers in the buffet and they were very nice and cordial.  Never saw anyone mis-behaving.  I have another Celebrity Cruise booked on Summit for Jan 24;  then it's back to Princess.  Cheers

I had to go to the medical center after experiencing an Afib incident.  They provided an itemized bill no charge, however, the cost for a full report (mine was 7 pages + EKG results) was $28 if I wanted it.  I was told that I would only need the itemized bill to submit to insurance, but wanted the entire report just be sure.  Travel insurance covered my entire $1600 bill.

you must have good travel insurance that covered entire bill

That I don't know.   Any of you followers know the answer?   I'll also try to find out.

I can answer this.  Was in Suite on Apex in March. I'm a picky eater.  The waiter in Lumanie told me to look at all dining room menus and let them know a day prior and they would fix the meal for me.  He said they have to send ass't waiter to deck three to pick up the food from that Restaurant and bring it up to Lumanie.  I had Roast Turkey Dinner one night;  Fettucinie Alfredo another night.  Lumanie wants you to go away each night happy

No, and I’ve even canceled and rebooked two cruises for different reasons and it still hasn’t happened. When I called Princess they said it’s only certain sailings and did not see the promotion on either of our bookings. One is the inaugural Sun and the other is an Island transatlantic so maybe those are too specialized.

Thanks for the headsup with Princess not really knowing about this offer.
