I believe the cost is $14.95 plus 20 percent gratuity and for this you get an appetizer, main entree and dessert. Cost is per person.
ok, thank you

I understand $14.95 charge for margaritaville. part of cost is gratuity, but does rest of upcharge get put toward your full bill or is in addition to what you order?

you can book with the minimum payment (whatever the current deposit amount is) and have until 120 days out to cancel or finish paying. If you have a cruise next certificate, you can you that to book the room and they will put it back into your account if you cancel before 120 days
thank you

i just received another cas certificate. not sure i can use it because of work, anyone know if we can book with minimum payment (believe it's $50 each) or will we have to pay free at sea gratuities as well?

Very true. I still find value in FTTF but there may be a price ceiling that I won't. Seeing as though embarkation is technically day 1 of the cruise, I do like to get on earlier to enjoy my time on the ship. Drop my stuff off in the room right away and then enjoy lunch while most people are still waiting to board.
used fttf on a 5 day last year. liked getting on fairly early, dropping carry-ons off in cabin, and sadly had to go to guest services several times (only 1 person ahead of me there, 1 time) regular gs line 20 people or more in line.
