  1. Are you going on the Emerald Princess during Passover? We went on the Caribbean Princess in 2005 and going on Emerald 2009 Passover. They offer Matzoh instead of bread in the Dining Room. They also have a Seder. We will be embarking the second seder night, so not sure if that will happen this time.

On the Caribbean Princess in 2005 they made a slight error. They served kreplach soup at the seder instead of Matzo Ball soup - LOL. They did serve the Matzo Ball soup for lunch the next day in the DR and at the buffet.

If it's not Passover, they will bake you a challah- just inquire a day or two ahead of time.

  2. I'm going to both St. Thomas and St. Maarten in April. There are two Movado watches I'm interested in purchasing. I bought a Movado in Montego Bay last summer (one of the "chain" Jewelry stores in the Caribbean, and paid 50% off retail - with a "real" US warranty). Thne best I can get in NY with a "real" warranty is 20% off. Will the stores you all mention in this thread discount up to (or more) 50%? If not, it's not worth it to me. So please help me. It's my 50th b-day and hubby is buying me a gift on the cruise! Thanks

(I heard Joe's jewelry in St. Maarten gives good deals on jewelry- any feedback?
