Do you tip the wedding coordinator and officiant?
-
Little confused here - we have only cruised Princess once. We cruise another line where we stay in our cabin until our disembarkation number/color is called. On Princess, do you stay in your cabin for disembarkation?
And - On embarkation, can you go straight to your cabin?

Princess offers two Belize City snorkeling excursions:
~ Sergeant’s Caye Snorkeling Adventure Excursion
~ Barrier Reef Snorkeling by Boat Excursion
Can anyone tell me about either excursion? Trying to decide which one is better.
Thanks!

I want to thank everyone for their information. We are still trying to decide which one to do!!

Need help filling OOT Bags. My daughter is getting married on the Caribbean Princess in January. All of our guests are seasoned cruisers, so the usual OOT Bag items won’t work – they will pack all those items themselves. Any ideas for OOT Bags for seasoned cruisers?
Thanks!

I know that you may take one bottle of wine onboard and if you bring multiple bottles, they are subject to a $15 corkage fee. If we take a bottle to dinner, will the wine steward store the extra wine, like they do when you buy a bottle in the main dining room?
2. How many bottles can you bring onboard? We will pay the corkage fee. Last time we sailed Princess, we brought a case of wine onboard. Can you still do that?
3. Are you allowed to bring soda and water onboard?
Thanks!

We were just on the Amsterdam in October. Does anyone know what kind of champagne / sparkling wine was served for the Mariner’s Luncheon and for the Captain’s Cocktail Party?

All right, are we ever going to get some Mac or iPad classes?
At least can we have some classes on applications that cross both platforms such as Photoshop or Adobe Acrobat.

Our travel doctor recommended spraying our clothes with Permethrin Spray. Permethrin was developed by the military to protect soldiers from insects. The spray lasts on clothes for 4 to 6 washings and is sold at Wal-Mart.

How much are women’s haircuts in the salon? Just the haircut - no shampoo, color, or blow out. We will be sailing on the Amsterdam.

We will be arriving in Kailua-Kona and tendering in. We will be in port from 7 AM to 5 PM. We are picking up a rental car at 8 AM and we need to be back to tender at 4 PM.
We hope to see the following sites:
Going South from Kona: Pu'uhonua o Honaunau National Historical Park & Kealakekua Bay
Going North from Kona: Pu'ukohola National Historic Site & Kaloko-Honokohau National Historical Park.
Is this a doable itinerary with Kona traffic? Should we head South first and then North?

Has anyone booked thru HAL for Kauai helicopter tours or booked on your own?

Any idea who is playing in the Piano Bar on the Amsterdam in Sept/Oct 2015?

Our ship arrives on a Sunday morning. Per your suggestions, we will take a taxi to the Arizona Memorial. We are going to buy advance tickets and we need to be at the memorial an hour in advance to pick up the tickets. Are 10 AM advance tickets, (arriving at 9 AM), a safe bet to buy? Or should we aim for a later arrival time? Are there plenty of taxis at the pier?
Tipping?
