 Yes but it is SouthWorst. In all fairness we are on the west coast so L.A. to Seattle or Vancouver is about the same price.
-
 There is no such thing as a "Road Scholar"
-
 So what if there is a price drop. You paid when you purchased it and that's it, HAL should not refund anything.

 question, why would you fly from Seattle? Vancouver is a fantastic airport.
-
 if the bars, music venues, casino, lido, etc. are full as any other time, then the passengers are not having any problem with it. I usually have to look over the rail to make sure we are moving because todays liners handle any seas smoothly
-
 Perhaps Sailing ?
-
 as always Hank, perfectly stated.
-
:cool:never arrive the same day as a cruise is my general advice. also, don't let a cruiseline book your air.
-
 cruise ship entertainment boring, we never waste our time. I'll be in the casino.
-
 they do have a wine director. bar/beverage manager is a different position. we sail TA on 10/28
-
 HAL's wine list not very impressive some good ones on the cellarmasters reserve list. We will bring 6-8 on our TA and buy the rest on board.
-
 I agree with the previous poster no Washington Chards. In fact if I am bringing a case it will be 10 reds and maybe a French Sancere or Italian Vermentino.
-
 40 cruises and we never board early. 90 minutes usually but up to 2 hrs. before. 12 windows open only a dozen people in line. we eat in town and don't care about lunch. Plus the cabin is always ready.
-
 go to romehotels.com for hundreds of listings. I would suggest the via venato area near Borghese gardens. near the westin excelsior would be a good starting point. I never use the cruiseline recommendations.
-
 Anyone know who the current wine director on K-dam is?
-
 we have done 5 from Rome, 1 from Barcelona, and 2 from Southampton. great weather almost all of the time during the first part of the crossing 66-70 and the last two days nearing Florida 69-74. the ships swing a little south to get to temperate climate but even the two from England were very nice. Hey NBT, remember our trip to Orvieto and that hilltop town from the 1500's?
-
 well, we either eat breakfast or lunch and a quick bite for either works well for us.
-
 we are on it on Oct. 28th deck 8. we were also on deck 8 two years ago and I do not remember any prob.
-
 we are on a 14 day TA westbound in the fall. I will bring both my tuxes (black and a white dinner jacket). true not many in the MDR but on the gala nights we always go to PG, Sel de mar, etc and the percentage there is much higher. fun being in the casino on those evenings and then cigars and brandy with our friends
-
 in over 40 cruises we have never had breakfast or lunch in the MDR so I have no idea.
-
 ships are so stabilized these days you need to look over the side to make sure you are still moving. of course I can go deep sea fishing in rough waters on a 20 footer and I still have my greasy sausage and runny eggs for breakfast no problem !!!
-
 forty one cruises on 8 different lines and this was the worst ship and staff ever
-
 what is a two top? is that a two seat? never heard the term before
-
 HAL over RCCI in every respect. Now HAL v. Celebrity I think are similar with personal preference making the decision. Food definitely better on HAL and since I hate cruise line entertainment I never go to any shows. I'll be in the casino if you need me!

 I cant imagine not tipping every time. 40 cruises never had a problem or attitude.
