  1. This is why I always put cash on my account now. I go to GS the first day and tell them I’m putting cash and to delete the cc. I’ve never had a problem with mysterious charges anymore when I return home.
  2. Your post reminded me of the Happy Hour BOGO for $1 at the Wheelhouse they used to have. Not so much a wish list because of the Plus/Premium pkgs now but so much of a nostalgic thing. Used to go with the family and my dad who has long since passed would absolutely love this time together in the afternoons. I really miss it, thanks for reminding me of it. 😊
  3. The 15 drinks a day is just the limit they impose. You don't need to come anywhere near that to make the package worth it.
  4. Best of luck to you. I can't imagine Princess allowing you to go back to your original cabin. It would be a nightmare for them if everyone that didn't get the location they like wanted to go back.
  5. The digital board celebrating your special occasion is very cool. This was for my birthday on the Sapphire a couple of years ago.When you get close to the board, it does an animated thing where confetti explodes on the screen.
  6. I agree completely but currently Princess is saving me a ton of money by still allowing smoking in the casinos. I will not drop one penny in there as long as it's smoking.

For those saying they could have been late due to an accident or needing to go to urgent care or whatever, in the daily planner on all of the cruise lines I've been on, they list a port agent and phone number in case you have an emergency while onshore and they recommend you bring it with you. I'm sure many don't pay attention to it but also I'm sure many do.

  11. Sorry you had such a horrible cruise. Not fun when you’re so excited about it. Princess is not going to refund you for the cruise, the way they see it is you got your meals, entertainment and ports even though you had a situation with your cabin. I say at this point just move on and enjoy booking your next cruise. Princess is in your rear view mirror.
  12. Whenever I need to cancel, I call and it’s done in a matter of minutes with no questions asked. That’s been my experience anyway. Congratulations on the wedding.

  16. I’m well aware of that and that’s why I responded the way I did. My point was there are many posters on here that say without a passport you cannot fly home and that is false information.

  18. So sorry this happened to you, very disappointing for sure. I couldn't image how it would feel to see that cancellation notice come in. I hope your next cruise makes up for it ten fold.
  19. Then say that. What you posted as many others do when someone doesn’t have a passport is they can’t fly home and that is just not true. It’s a hassle sure but you are not confined to whatever country you’re in forever. I’m team passport and think anyone traveling should have one but if the cruise line doesn’t require it for all cruises then some will not get them, which I can understand.
  20. That is false information. A passport is always the best to have but if you travel with a BC & DL and are a US Citizen, they don’t just keep you in that country forever. 🙄 Sure, it takes a little more work to fly back but you will be flying back home.
  21. I would dispute it with your CC company. You paid for something you did not receive and the parking garage wrongfully denied the refund.
