  1. We board Apex on the 21st of August. Looking forward to reading about your trip!
  2. We are doing this cruise in August…thanks for sharing! Loving all your pics!
  3. Thank you so so much….I’m a bit annoyed with myself that I’ve let it stress me out this much. 💜
  4. We are on our way to the same cruise! Hopefully will be landing this afternoon. We also are carrying our positive PCR results from August. Was it a simple procedure to register these results? Ive let this become my biggest stressor of this trip. Thanks for any and all advice.
  5. If you show them your positive test that was run by a lab that includes the lab information, they will exempt you from random testing
  6. CDC says quarantine is 5 days, not ten. After 5 days and your asymptomatic, resume normal activity but wear mask for 5 additional days if out in public spaces.
  7. Thanks for the info!! We have a Sunday departure as well and this sounds wonderful!!
  8. I’m on this cruise as well with the exact same arrival day. We are planning on testing the morning of the 9th before we leave for airport. I want the stress of the testing behind me as soon as possible 🙃
  9. You can test positive for up to 90 days after initial test….they really need to update their rules. No one should be re testing after 5 days.
  10. Took Celebrity 6 weeks to change my outbound flights so we wouldn’t miss connection. We leave September 11th and this was finally resolved two days ago. From my experience, one week is not enough time and I wouldn’t look for this to be resolved until the end of October. FWIW, our flights were also Delta.
  11. We are on this cruise as well…and we have also had to move it several times. I wont believe it actually going to happen until I am on the deck, coffee in hand 😋
  12. Absolutely you have to submit your second ArriveCAN as you specified.....at least according to the ap.
  13. We have a Vancouver to Vancouver Alaska cruise that starts on the 11th of September. Both husband and I tested covid positive (home tests) Aug 7. Retested with CVS to have “official’ positive test results on the 17th. We will need to travel with a certificate of recovery/fit to fly letter (which we are having a very hard time obtaining, but that’s a whole other story). Has anyone landed in Vancouver and used one of these letters? Anyone made it through entry and then used the letter to board ship? Any suggestions to make this process go smoothly would be greatly appreciated. The stress I’m letting this cause is crazy. thanks for any help
  14. Me too and thank you! I’m going to try and do that this week. Have a video chat with my doc next week. Did another home test and still positive.
  15. I'm in the same boat. Have an Alaska cruise departing from Vancouver 11Sept. Just read the requirements for the COR....I did a home test so I don't have what's required for official documentation. Dodged this for over 2.5 years...ugh. Anyone out there that actually got a COR with only a home test and have it accepted at the pier?
  16. We are using Celebrity for our air for our Alaska cruise in September. This will be the last time I use them. Like several other people have said, our flights were canceled by Delta and then rebooked. Out connection time on one of the three legs is less than 35 mins. Have called Celebrity several times. One of the customer service agents “booked” an appointment with me for a call back 14 days after submitting a change request with Delta…never called back. Very frustrating. Fingers crossed now that the emergency desk is actually a thing and can help us when we miss the connection 🙃
