Keith and Anne Marie - don't take this wrong - how could you spend so much time and effort on great eating and look the way you guys do. I gain weight just looking at the food pictures you take - not even eating all that food.😄😍

If they allow the same discount anywhere and anytime you book - then they are just reducing the price and not really offering a special deal

To each -- Prego was our favorite place to eat on Crystal and honestly the new OO menu (and name we can't remember or spell) doesn't really interest us It is almost as if thoughts are that fancy = luxury and Prego wasn't fancy enough. We are also maybe the only people in the world who aren't interested in UMI UMA - just not the kind of food we like. So not sure where we will eat. Does anyone know - the old days you got 2 restaurant credits for short cruise - even though stated as 1 per each restaurant you could actually use both at one of them - so we used to use both at Prego. Is that still doable?

Not the most exciting ice cream flavors. Does anyone know if there are gluten free meals on board - if needed do you need to let them know before the cruise?

Many years ago when we did an Egypt off of a Crystal ship - the busses, Nile ships etc. were always surrounded by armed guards. Don't know if any ports are still considered potentially dangerous but security should be a concern when you choose a tour.

It would be great if the day before the excursions to Normandy if Crystal showed some of the great D-Day movies so your mind can overlay what happened with the beaches and near by sites. A great experience.

Based upon A&K past and reputation I;d expect great excursions from them = might take a while to organize.

Think about from this prospective: The first cruise in a couple of years has just been completed with new owners and completely refurbished ships and some restaurant changes. From what I've read taken all these things into account it has been amazing and probably will get better. I think most people thought there would be more problems or other missing items. Great start.

So if you compared a dinner and night our at a small city somewhere to diner and night out in NYC you'd only compare the prices and size of seats?

Not only why double beds but why so many wine/drink glasses - seems strange to me.

Eastward voyages: Great if you are doing Around the World in 80 days. Or on a millennium trip on Symphony and because of the Eastward across the Pacific you get 2 millennium New Years Eve celebrations - one on each side of the dateline. What a great 2 nights.

Is Bruce McGill ever not on a Crystal ship? Have run into him on several cruises. Not that he hasn't done other good roles but Crystal and his character on Animal House don't match up well. Another great from the Crystal of the past.

some people still bring up the old ship issue - since there is basically nothing that passengers see/use that hasn't been redone what is it about the age of the ship that makes you not want to go. Ever stay at an "old" hotel?

To me it is great to see in a little more that a week of sailing - the comments and questions aren't will it or can it sail and will everything be screwed up before sailing - to details on parts of the experience and hard copy guides vs. electronic, etc. No comments about Crystal not being ready to sail or bad experience - bring the old one back. Crystal is back and from what I read and will see it is better and better. Great job to new owners and all the crew.

Personally, the few times we've had a butler we never used them. Making a call to get a reservation at a restaurant wasn't too hard. doesn't mean that they were bad but I wouldn't choose a room or line because of butler service. We don't ever eat in our rooms or would want to.

I wonder if the large production shows are missing because they are still developing them, getting cast and then need to do enough rehearsals to make the great. We were on a Crystal cruise a few years ago where there were no shows but you could hear them rehearsing so maybe next cruise got them.

There used to be covered pools on the ships but I don't remember anyone using them and they were converted to other uses

Although I haven't lived in NYC for many decades (I grew up there) - pulling into those docks always makes me feel as if I coming home.

I've said this before the size etc of the room doesn't really interest us - we spend as little time in it as possible and when asleep I don't notice its size. I'd rather save money to do more cruises or spend money on other stuff than spend on a fancy room. There are so many great things to do on Crystal that I want to make sure I do as many as possible I know most disagree with me but..

Not sure why this occurred to me last night but.. When, in a few years, they decide to retire Symphony and Serenity it would be great for a special cruise for each of them Maybe a long one - maybe duplicating each one's first cruise Maybe meeting up with its replacement at the port that ends the cruise. Special invites to those who have done the most cruises. I know many think those are old ships and should be just junked but they made Crystal what it is today and I think should be honored at the end.

I think that is great - a lot of people were commenting that they were going to wait to see how things were going before booking. More great news - thanks

t Any idea how many guests are on board. Not that a sold out ship would seem crowded but wondering how Crystal is doing attracting passengers. Based upon reports from cruise 1 I'm sure they'll do very well

Were all men in suits or tux or were any in sports coats?

We haven't had an issue with photographers for at least many years - it was great having them so when you wanted pictures you could get them I remember when Crystal had the painting sales sessions - speaking of non-luxury but they went away and as said many things change which is good.
