@cruiseej yes I spoke with destination services. We are planning to take our luggage with us on Thursday for our tour then head to the hotel. Thankfully I have not over packed. I think you have people with you so it might be harder for you. Good luck.

We also saw the show. We do not normally go to the show but with the sea day and not having to be up early, we thought we would give it a shot. I agree plot line is a bit disjointed and the ending just happens. I also thought the production cast was very good. As for the song choices we actually enjoyed it. I thought the songs and the dancing were very good. I am going to add we are some of the younger folks on this cruise so I could see how the songs might not have been things you are familiar with. This is also our first Regent cruise. Very impressed with the food and wine selections. The tours have been what I expected and how they described them. The one thing I have been less than thrilled with is the background music in the lounges and restaurants. The songs are familiar but am not enjoying the cover of them. Really not an issue and it is all personal preference. If that is my worst complaint then this is a terrific cruise.

@cruiseej FYI i had the same issue. i booked excurions and then they went missing. My TA was able to get me back on them. Seems like Regent and most other cruise lines need some more IT help.

@cruiseej that is my backup plan to just take my luggage off the ship and with me. While i don't think we have a van, we are only bringing 2 normal pieces of luggage (maybe one i am going to try hard). My first Regent cruise (not my first cruise), and we are on the same trip. We are doing a South Coast tour.

@cruiseejwe are doing the same thing. I asked my TA about this. They asked Regent. I was told we could have Regent take our luggage to the hotel and leave it there and check in after our tour. I will still be checking again as we get close to debarkation. It seems like we should be good.

Be a IV and my hubby has completely broken most sites both hotels and airlines.

Dress code. I believe I read on the website it would be one option formal (informal if not) then 3 more informal and 3 casual correct?

Thanks for the info on the inside temp of the ship. We embark on Thursday and I am concerned about being warm enough. I tend to freeze in the summer when indoors. I am planning for pullovers but how thick was my question. I think I will go with my heavy stuff.

Thanks for the info and yet confusing as usual. I would like to wear jeans when allowed on casual night. I am not formal and I freeze so generally jeans are warm and bulky wool sweaters are my thing. Of course the issue is packing so only one sweater allowed. Hm giving me a lot to think about while I begin packing this weekend.

Really, jeans are allowed on casual night in the dining room and bars? We are on the Muse Sep1.

I got one flight changed so far. My flight out to Vancouver. I was able to move it up and I did not have to pay a deviation fee. Now I need to think about my flight home. TA had an interesting option for me and I need to decide if I want to pursue it.

I am counting on it. Plus I really do expect that on board will be awesome and hoping for some delicious food.

I agree with @forgap. This is my first SS cruise and first time I had cruise line book flight. I took the D2D option. It is a real pain. I am trying to get a better flight going out and no response from SS. TA keeps checking in with me with no info. I am dealing with a TA and I think she is doing the best I can. I am hoping my on board experience blows me away. Plus I hate the My Silversea web design. It is terrible and I have had issues with it.

This is our first SS cruise. We chose the D2D option, honestly, because I was lazy and did not want to hassle with booking things. We got our flights in the last couple of days. First they actually booked the incorrect date for flying home. They have since corrected that as of this morning. However these flight times SUCK. I have a request into to TA so I hope we can get some better flights without paying the deviation fee. I have been on other cruise lines, but always booked the other parts myself. I am not sure if this is typical but right now SS is not looking so fantastic. It may be my only SS cruise.
