  1. We got the same “move down” offer on the Royal for the same Sept 17th cruise. We chose to stay in our mini suite. Strange, since we usually get an upsell offer...
  2. The phone customer service is awful too! I have been on “hold” for an hour right now..........
  3. Hi! Thank you for the pictures and the daily schedule. We will be on The Symphony of the Seas in January and your posts are the best ever, especially the photos and daily schedule. Keep it up! Looks like an amazing ship!
  4. We take the bus too, and then the PeopleMover mono rail to the terminal. Sent from my iPad using Forums
  5. We were on a cruise that stopped in Kotor about three weeks ago. We did not tender but tied up and walked off. It was a charming walled town that took about an hour to tour (we had arranged for a private guide). Sorry you missed it. Sent from my iPad using Forums
  6. We recently got back from Riviera (Venice to Rome). We have cruised extensively, but this was our first Oceania cruise. We chose the cruise for the itinerary, which was unique, and worth the high price paid. That said, Riviera itself is in need of refurbishment. Our stateroom was a good size, but maintenance had to fix several items immediately- two drawers didn’t work and the closet door was not sliding. There was a very loud air conditioning related knocking in the ceiling, extending from the hallway that kept us and our neighbors up at night. This eventually was adjusted to a not as loud knocking... The service, in general, was excellent on board. The food was very good in the Specialty restaurants, but average in the MDR. Terrace Cafe and Waves were better Venues compared to other lines similar venues. Really very little entertainment. The ship almost always seems deserted, except at meal times. We are in our late 60’s and early 70’s and felt like we were in the younger crowd. I would guess we would not try Oceania again unless there was another unique itinerary. 7. My husband got turned away last night for wearing sandals. Note, I was wearing the exact style of sandals and was not asked to change. Double standards? Sent from my iPad using Forums
  8. $1.21 per euro. Plus 5% service fee. Onboard Riviera, 8-19. Sent from my iPad using Forums
  9. This frozen coffee drink is currently in Baristas on Riviera. Sent from my iPad using Forums
  10. Rijeka, Croatia has a shuttle to the city center from the port. Sent from my iPad using Forums
  11. You mean it wouldn’t be a good idea to get my early morning coffee from the concierge lounge wearing my robe? I will be staying just down the hall.... Sent from my iPad using Forums
  12. We do a few prearranged tours on each cruise, but not usually through a cruise line. The rest of the time, we do some research, and go into town on our own. Rick Steves is a good resource. Oceania has free shuttles to most towns, if they are not easy walking distance from where the ships dock. Sent from my iPad using Forums
  13. So jealous that you will be spending 6 months on board. The most time we have been able to spend on a cruise was 1 month. New Jersey to Dubai. Sent from my iPad using Forums
