  1. Thank you!!! What condiments - Ketchup?
  2. Dave and Leiloha are the best!! Make sure to take Leiloha's craft classes! They are lots of fun and you'll have a remembrance of your trip. And it's Elua not Eula.
  3. We can't - we're past final payment. Ours is also 32 days and also goes to those ports. How do we keep just missing each other??? 😪 ***
  4. Any chance you're on the Sapphire Oct. 30 to Hawaii and Tahiti? (Wish, wish!!!!)
  5. As I posted i did think that asking that question on Shabbat was a little strange. I use electronics (obviously) but do keep Kosher. We have a situation where there is a commitment during Passover and the only way I can see to do it is to be on a cruise so I would need three pre-packaged meals every day. If it were any other week cold cereal for breakfast would be fine, as would cold food for lunch. I know Princess has the pre-packaged dinners if preordered in advance. I have googled the question and there were no definitive answers. I'll call Princess on Monday but don't expect to get much help so I was hoping someone on here had personal experience. I have a feeling I'll not be able to fulfill this commitment. ***
  6. Cute story! Princess must have changed something - I seem to remember our kids were "blue" until they turned 18, no matter how many cruises.
  7. I have an odd question. Does anyone know if you order Kosher meals on Princess if you get 3 meals a day (or even two) or is it just dinner/ Thanks in advance.
  8. If I get ambitious I’ll print out @Ombud’s menus from above and take them with us to show as examples.
  9. After many, many cruises with Princess and Celebrity we have learned that Princess shows up 10-15 minutes before the time you put on the card and Celebrity shows up 10-45 minutes AFTER. I now adjust what time I write down accordingly.. The person who said it took a long time for breakfast to show up didn't order in advance via the door hanger - they ordered from the Medallion in the morning. Medallion orders can take a while because those aren't set up in advance.
  10. Does anyone know if this menu has recently been available on the Sapphire? Thanks!
  11. Last year you could order a Cappucino to your cabin via the Medallion if you had the Plus package. Is this still possible?
  12. @Ombud - Thanks for sharing the vegan menus. We have a long cruise planned for the fall so it's good to know we won't have to rely on the Head Waiter's imagination for meal choices. Quick question - are the red Xs yours or are they on the menu as a daily suggestion? So........ did the Strawberry Smoothie work? 🤣 ****
  13. The menu says vegan but I noticed "cheddar cheese" on the enchiladas in the middle menu. So is the menu really vegan or just vegetarian? (Or is it vegan cheese?)
  14. That is , except for the second to last paragraph (see below), the exact same response we have received for the last five years or so. And I mean exact - word for word. I have received favorable feedback from vegans who have sailed with us. They are surprised at how the dining staff caters to their needs. Again, please contact the Maitre d’ Hotel and discuss your needs with him, this will result in receiving the proper assistance with your diet. The ship staff will do everything they can to accommodate your diet. Our experience has been that if we have a good Head Waiter in our area of the dining room we get varied, flavorful meals. If we get a so-so Head Waiter coupled with an inexperienced table waiter things are less good. It's always still better than just taking our chances with restaurants in new places on land that aren't vegan/vegetarian.
  15. No vegan menu on Celebrity either. We always have to rely on getting a good waiter or Head Waiter. (Although we’ve had good luck about 90% of the time on Princess and Celebrity. It’s MUCH better than what happens in restaurants on land. )
  16. I also noticed that language and if it isn't changed would definitely make me reconsider how safe it is to cruise Celebrity. (The language about dumping you in a foreign country NOT the mandatory mask wearing.) Passenger understands and agrees that if, after boarding, and even if Passenger has fully complied with all COVID-19 Policies and Procedures, Passenger tests positive for COVID-19 or exhibits signs or symptoms of COVID-19, Carrier may disembark, refuse re-boarding after a shore excursion, or quarantine Passenger as well as members of Passenger’s travelling party, or take other steps which Carrier determines, in its sole discretion, are necessary under the circumstances to protect the health and well-being of others. *

  18. I can't speak for @RichYak but as for myself - am a longtime Celebrity cruiser dismayed to see the changes and hoping Celebrity will see the thread (I DO think they monitor CC) and react accordingly. And if not, this is a resource of where else we might spend our vacation dollars.
  19. You get two 70 lb. bags per person free in First Class. Just remember to put that you are flying first class on the Luggage Valet form! As long as you do that there won't be a luggage fee. And, yes, they are very strict about the time. We once had an 11:25 flight out of Fort Lauderdale and they wouldn't let us use the Luggage Valet service! *
  20. Question for all of those who have switched to O or other more upscale cruise lines. My husband is a vegan and I am a vegetarian who eats fish but not shellfish. So fabulous cuts of beef or large lobster tails don't do anything for us. We cruise in Aqua on Celebrity and find that in Blu our needs are always taken care of. Does anyone know how O accommodates special diets like ours?
  21. In case anyone missed this. Just make sure to indicate on the form WHY you don't pay for luggage.
  22. Adrian and Armandt (in the picture) are the World Class Bartenders. They are the BEST!!! Tell them Allan and Karen say hi and miss them. (If you remember please tell Adrian that I'm trying to make my own Azteca at home but the results are nothing like theirs)
