  1. An early good morning (0600 hours local time) from the Sky Princess. Sorry for not checking in last night, but as with the previous day, I was tired and pretty much fell asleep as soon as we got back to the cabin after dinner. Well the dreaded day is here. Last full day on the ship😥 before the end of this wonderful cruise. I always get a little melancholy at this point on all my cruises. It will good to get home and see our Bailey, but all the same it will be a little disappointing to have to disembark tomorrow morning. A little later Holli and I plan to have breakfast in Sabatini's for most likely the last time. It will actually be open tomorrow for suite passenger (for breakfast) but we are not sure we'll be dining there. Sabatini's continues to be our favorite suite perk albeit we didn't get to enjoy it as much this cruise as on previous voyages. After breakfast, it's the expected packing rituals. Later this early afternoon, we plan to meet our friends for a final round of LCR games. Later this afternoon we hope to finish our packing before joining them for a final farewell dinner in the MDR. The entertainment offerings last night in the Princess Theater was a Mexican Folkorico Festival at 1800 and 2000. MUTS showed Cirque du Soleil Delirium, The Who concert (2017), and a UB40 concert. The movie "Joker" was shown in the Vista lounge. The rest of the entertainment offerings were too numerous to mention. For those who may be interested, I will be uploading all of the patters, along with my pictures, to my Flickr page when we get home. In closing this post, I just wanted to say that I have truly enjoyed posting our adventures on this wonderful cruise. I hope everyone has enjoyed reading of our adventures. I will probably check in a couple more times before we disembark tomorrow. Next up, hopefully, is a 14 day R/T, from Los Angeles (San Pedro), to Alaska in May. That's all for now. Hope all are well.....😊😊😊 Bob
  2. My quest is now complete. I found the last one on my cruise......😂😂😂 Bob
  3. Greetings all. Wow is it crowded in Puerta Maya today. I’m out and about with passengers from the Carnival Horizon, Carnival Fantasy, Independence OTS, and Celebrity Edge. The Breakaway is docked a ways away from us & I haven’t seen the HAL ship that’s also supposed to be in port. A veritable sea of humanity......😮😮😮 Bob
  4. Good morning (0634 local time) from the Sky Princess. We are still sailing towards Cozumel. It is still dark outside due to loosing an hour last night due to time change. A little while later, Holli & I plan to enjoy Sabatini's for breakfast. Later on this afternoon we have a sailing excursion planned. This will also be a late day in Cozumel as we do not sail until shortly after 2100. Yesterday in Belize, Holli & I just got off the ship and walked around a bit. Unless you are on an excursion, there really isn't much to do right off the ship other than shopping and drinking. I did keep my streak alive though by finding a Diamonds International store amongst the offerings. Last night was our second and final formal night for the cruise. It was nice getting dressed up in my suit for dinner. Not the same as a tux, but still nice. We ate in the MDR with some of our CC friends. The company was great and the food was very good. After dinner both Holli and I were quite tired so we returned to our cabin and made it an early evening. The entertainment offering in the Theater last night was the production show 5 Skies at 2000 and 2200. Throughout the day yesterday, MUTS showed Cirque du Soleil Alegria, a Sol3 Mio (Never heard of them) Concert, a Sting concert in Berlin, a Mumford & Sons Concert, and the movie Farewall. Well, that's all for now. I will check in later. Hope all are well.....😊😊😊 Bob
  5. Wow, I just looked in the patters and noticed that the tender ride (Belize) is 25 minutes each way.....😮😮😮 Bob
  6. I saw several passengers playing during last week's voyage. Haven't been up to the sports deck as of yet on this voyage.....😊😊😊 Bob
  7. Good morning all from the Sky Princess (0615 local time). We are nearing our next port of call of Belize which will be another tender port. Holli says she is feeling a little better today so that is a definite plus. Today in Belize, we actually do not have anything booked so I'm not sure what's on tap. I am happy to report that I finally found those elusive egg sandwiches in the IC. I am happy to report they are still very tasty and yummy. Couple of things I wanted to mention about the WFMP (yes I know that food is a very subjective matter & I'll try to keep my rant to a minimum). The temps of the hot foods frankly are lacking IMHO. Everything served is luke warm to just plain cold. I believe this is due to the fact they they set the foods out a great deal of a time before the actual sections open. Whatever type of warmers they are using are not working. Lastly, the continental breakfast served is quite lacking in variety. The regular breakfast service does not begin till 0600 (and they are very precise on waiting till 0600 to open). I spoke with a rather unfriendly head waiter about my observations and was abruptly told to go to the continental breakfast buffet. Anyway, rant done. I will check in later. Hope all are well.....😊😊😊 Bob
  8. Good evening everyone from the Sky Princess (1950 local time). I took the above picture as we were departing Roatan a couple of hours ago. Unfortunately we did not go on our excursion today due to Holli still being a little under he weather. I did get off the ship for a couple of hours and toured Mahogany Bay. I must say that I was quite impressed with Roatan. All of the locals were super friendly. I just walked around down to the beach and took a bunch of pictures. I did also enjoy some adult beverages along the way. For dinner tonight, we just stayed in the cabin. I was able to get Holli to eat a little. When I was up in the WFMP, I did note they were doing Planks in a rear corner of the dining area. Tomorrow in Belize, we have nothing planned so I will see what the day brings. I'm going to cut this short tonight because I need to work on touching up and cataloging my photos. I always do this on all of our cruises to alleviate having to do it all when I get home. That's all for now. Hope all are well.....😊😊😊 Bob
  9. They have a fairly sized selection of VOD movies onboard....... Bob
  10. I will soon be a retired LEO. March 5th will be 39 year anniversary as a Los Angeles County Deputy Sheriff. My last day of work is March 27th, 2020...... Bob
  11. Both ship time and shore time are the same. It is 1035 as I post this..... Sorry for any confusion I may have created...... Bob
  12. She’s still a little down & out. Da#n diverticulitis flare up..... Bob
  13. We are in the process of docking at Roatan (1021 hrs local time).....😊😊😊 Bob
  14. Sorry about the non cruise post, a but proud papa has to brag. The pet hotel where Bailey is staying at sent us this picture on Sunday. It’s hard to believe he’s only 20 weeks old. We both can’t wait to see him on Sunday......😊😊😊 Bob
  15. Lew; Thanks for the heads up. I never thought about it in that light... Bob
  16. I’m not sure about other cabins and their configurations, but we are in a PH suite on Riviera Deck and there is one on the side of the bed near the vanity. We have som friends onboard that are in balcony cabins. I will check with them later to see about their cabins..... Bob
  17. Good morning all from the Sky Princess (0501 local time). We got an hour back last night so you’d think I would have got more sleep. Nope, body told me it was time to get up at 0430. Right now I,m sitting outside the World Fresh Market Place near the aft pool. It is noticeably more humid today as we near Roatan. I’m sure once the sun comes up, the heat will also start. Today’s we are scheduled to do a coastal sail & snorkel cruise. I’m going to check wit Holli in a couple of hours to see how she is feeling. Got some good news yesterday in that “EZ-Check” will be available at the end of the cruise when we disembark in Fort Lauderdale. It will be so nice not seeing the luggage until we get to LAX. A little later today I’m going to order the car service to take us to Miami airport. I always pay a little extra to hire a private car when we travel to Miami. We both find it more comfortable than the usual bus ride. Well that’s all for now. I’ll check in later. Hope all are well.....😊😊😊 Bob
  18. An early good evening from the Sky Princess. We departed Grand Cayman about an hour ago. Holli was under the weather so she stayed in the cabin. I took the tender into town and just walked around town for a bit and took some pictures. Prior to heading back to the ship, I stopped off at Margaritaville and indulged in what they have to offer. Since Holli isn't feeling well, we may indulge in the suite perk of ordering from the MDR menu fo dinner ensuite. Other than that, not much else planned. Tomorrow we will be in Roatan Honduras. We have a sail/snorkel excursion planned that I am looking forward to. Tonight's entertainment in the Princess Theater is Brent & Sarah's Comedy & Magic Show at 2000 and 2200. MUTS today showed Cirque du Soleil Delirium, a Cheryl Crow Concert (2003), Hall & Oats Live in Dublin, and the Movie Judy. That's all for now; I'll check in later. Hope all are well.....😊😊😊 Bob
