We sail Friday (finally!) and I’d like to link my Medallion with those of at least some of my 24 traveling companions. However, I don’t see a Traveling Companions tab on the app this year. What’s up with that?

Last night I went on the app to try to sign up for excursions on regal princess, eastern Caribbean 3/26-4/2, but the ones I wanted were all sold out! Do they ever open duplicate excursions (for example, a second walking tour of the city)?

I'm considering at least one solo cruise this year but not sure which line. I'd have Gold status at RC from 5-day Caribbean last spring, but was kind of underwhelmed by food and excursions (Nassau was a complete waste). NCL seems like the obvious choice, but I've also heard Celebrity pays attention to solo activities. Conversely, have heard that Princess is more of a Love Boat, and that Virgin is more for "swinging singles." I'm a young 65 and most interested in excursions. Your opinions? Thanks!

I was very disappointed in Nassau. Very dirty even allowing for construction woes — we saw a large rat on the walking tour. Port Marketplace souvenirs really looked cheap and flimsy compared to those I’ve seen elsewhere (Jamaica, Mexico, etc.), and they were selling conch shells which people reportedly were not allowed to bring onto the ship at the end of the day. Of course there were zillions of jewelry-and-T-shirt stores, but that’s virtually ALL there was out side the Marketplace, and the jewelry people were quite pushy. I will not be back.
