Hi Are you staying 1 night or a few for sightseeing? The port is in downtown San Diego so tons of hotels from which to choose!! I'd look around on your dates and come back here mentioning the possibilities for your specific dates

I can't imagine arriving at a train station at that hour anywhere in the world Is that the only possibility?

We never wait until the end of the cruise to to tip extra We don't use our cc room steward much so we tip the first day c when we explore a in how we want things done We tip the head waiter in club class and our servers some time during the cruise We don't tip 1 and done specialty dining extra

The c all centers,no matter where they are located, are manned by sales people They know little or nothing about anything on board the ships! Do no t call them for information!!!

We also p refer no housekeeping We tell,our steward that we'd only like service maybe once during a week's cruise We often give an extra tip so that v they don't think we want no service to save on tipping I believe they are required to go into the cabin at least once to make sure all is well We ask for towels as needed We give e our garbage cans to be emptied as we see the steward the hallway On a ship your steward deals with room issues nit anyone at the front desk

Hi Even though we live in San Diego we always drive up the day before a cruise Unfortunately for our cruise in October both the Crowne Plaza and the Doubletree are already sold out!! I was shocked to see that this far out! I tried to find the location of t h e p asking garages at the port itself but couldn't see it on a map Can anyone explain where it is in relation to where Princess docks?? Anyone have another idea??

Hi The people who answer the 800 number are sales people They do not usually know anything about what actually happens on board the ships I'd either book and then get the money back when you are in board or I'd wait and just book on the ship

Suites do not have a special number to call before your cruise You will be able to take care of everything when you board the ship You can easily get your mini bar switched out but not to wine There's no wine in the mini bar You can switch to more of what's there The 360 is new since our last cruise so I don't I now about that I do I now that you can call the dine line on board to get your first night free dinner in a specialty restaurant We book the Crowne Grill
