  1. On the Jade, club balcony. Coffeemaker would be provided on request but no pods. Was told to buy them ashore.

  3. Not had any live music outside at all. It’s just constant dance music piped around the outside areas. Prepare yourself!
  4. What do people think about the constant ‘ambient’ music on the pool deck of the ship. It just seems that nobody particularly cares about it. I tried to find an area where they didn’t have speakers but failed. Would have thought the top deck sunbathing area would be immune but no, there are two big speakers pumping out these mindless sounds. M
  5. We are on board Pursuit currently and find the quality of food to be generally good for cruise food. It would be about average in restaurant quality. The biggest disappointment is probably Aqualina. We have had two meals there so far and both have disappointed. Either the cooking has been wrong, the dishes wrong or the quality of ingredients poor. We have them for the last night but will probably give them up for main dining room. We had a super night there last night. The waiter Jap was an absolute hoot. We loved him. M
  6. We only asked about the pool and deck area. M
  7. Guest services just confirmed that I misunderstood them and that no tips can come from on board credit so would need to be settled at end of cruise. They offered to void the tips but then staff would not get them obviously. Annoyed as I was definitely told that they could. Though there is a contradictory letter in the suite. Left a bad taste in the mouth. Still, Now have $990 dollars to spend in the shop when it finally opens.

We are using onboard credit (came as package) for tips at the speciality restaurants and we’re told by guest relations if we have any credit left it could be converted to a cheque and given to our butler. Obviously some one just have over heard and corrected them as I got a letter today from guest relations saying the opposite. It seems unfair that you can use it to top restaurant staff but not the butler. Perhaps I shall do a room service order and leave a big tip. Wonder who gets that. M
  9. Am on Pursuit currently and in Club continental suite. Was told at booking that a perk was access to the Sanctum Spa area. However have been denied access and told this is now limited to ‘higher value suites’ and this change has just been made. Our lovely butler insists we have access and is enquiring. Luckily the ship is quiet so am not too bothered but it’s a bit unfair to make these changes after booking and not communicating it to the passengers. Michael
