  1. March 18, 1994 Royal Caribbean Viking Serenade LA-Ensenada with my sister We paid for an inside, but got a free upgrade to aft-facing balcony. Still my favorite cabin location. We sailed with Captain Thomas Wildung several times on Legend of the Seas. Great guy.
  2. In 2023, we needed to cancel a cruise before final payment that we had already paid using the HAL gift cards (wasn’t the AARP ones). Our PCC applied the money toward a cruise that we had on deposit for 2024. No problem and then I didn’t need to keep track of which gift cards had been refunded.
  3. I have ordered the tempura shrimp app as my entree (several times on Koningsdam and once on Nieuw Statendam). They were happy to oblige. They gave me 5 which was perfect along with some crab fried rice.
  4. I was trying to make a booking and edited the cabin selection and it says the one I want is selected but the next step reverts back to the one they assigned. I’ll have to call on Tuesday.
  5. Currently on board and yes, the app offers to let you make reservation. However, every day it only ever offers 5:00 or 5:15

    Thank you, @Rioccafor the detailed instructions. I find I also have two circle accounts, my correct Discoverer one and another with a different number, no points and Preview. Explains a lot.
  7. Took an additional ten days but I finally got our refund posted to the credit card this morning.
  8. I just got off the phone with my travel agent. I mentioned the issue noted above about Azamara not having the credit card information. Sure enough, they did not. She gave them the information and supposedly, my refund has now been issued, “but could take out to thirty days” to post to my credit card. So it worth it to contact them again and make sure they have the CC. I will let you know if I see the credit show up.
  9. I tried sending an email about our overdue refund to three addresses I got from the Elliot advocate page mentioned above. I sent it on May 26 to AzamaraGuestRelations@Azamara.com and CC’d the two executive contacts for “Guest Services Manager” and “Chief Administrative and Information Officer”. The Guest Services Manager one bounced as undeliverable. No response from either of the other two addresses.
  10. We cancelled a November cruise on April 10. My TA has called Azamara 3 times in three days and got no where. They were told that the status of our deposit refund is “pending” and there is no way to escalate. Check back in 4 weeks.
  11. Yep. Same. My loyalty points balance is incorrect. Sent another form again this morning, this time using the form from the link in the response email. This one let me attach additional documentation. So I attached a screen shot of my loyalty points level from before the transition. I fully expect that I will get the same response. At the time, I thought I was just being paranoid when I took screen shots of my future cruises, all my cruise history and my loyalty page from the old site.
  12. I cancelled a November cruise on April 10. We have not received the refund of our deposit as of May 10.
  13. My opinion is the products have a strong scent that I find unpleasant. So I bring my own. If the soap at our pre-cruise hotel is good, I wrap it back up and bring it along also, so it doesn’t go to waste.
  14. Have a great trip. Even with the uncertainty this past January, we still had a great time there. The food was amazing.
