    I think just the adventure of going on a cruise to Alaska would be interesting enough. The Hawaii cruise with all the sea days might not, but then when they get there and get to explore the different stops should be of interest.

    Here is the confirmed sailing time according the Port Schedule, both at 15:45. And you're right when they actually sail is any ones guess.

    We have done two trans Pacific cruises & loved them both, hope to do more. If you enjoy sea days sitting on deck watching the waves, sitting reading a book or having a nap in a deck chair then you will enjoy it. Some times there are interesting guest speakers, it depends. Try it & decide for your self.

    We had solid over cast, kind of a let down after all the reports of how great it was going to be.

    Glad every one had a great view, we had solid over cast here. This look like a great excuse to book a cruise for the next one.

    We didn't have an aft cabin but on our trip around the Horn the water was like a mirror not a ripple. It all depends on the weather & time of year, we went around in Jan.
