DW and i stayed in one on the Nav. Really great room, we loved the view. Very quiet, too. We snagged one of the front/center rooms, so no traffic outside our door. Easy elevator access. Just a few steps to being outside.

how about noise from the Viking Crown Lounge and traffic from the Pool? Any problem?

I am sailing in one of these cabins in July. From what I understand they will not even be completed until May 2018.
I just booked one today on Adventure so perhaps we will be it's first occupants on March 17, 2018
-
I was surprised also because on balconies that have the sofa bed symbol two people can't stay in it!!!
-
they are complete now because I just had them unlock (a reservation term that concerned me) both a Panoramic and the new Junior Suite bow of Deck 11. And can it be that we will be the first to stay in them on the 17th of this month?

Also getting $225 OBC per cabin from the travel agent and $100 per cabin OBC since both my wife and I are shareholders helps to ease the pain somewhat. So these events combined kept cheapo dad from falling into catatonic state but not into happy dancing state either.
++++++++++
Husband was just asking how much stock you have to own to be able to get the discount?

I have gotten some bargains on grand suites under 200 a day on liberty and navigator , of course my up coming oasis is more , but as you said you get what you pay for
Eight days out from my Adventure cruise I cheked prices on a JS because two days ago they had a March savings (not now) that would have given me back $200 OBC. The Junior Suite was $930 something more.
I mistakenly believed that they would be trying to move the last of the cabins.

We were in GS 1568 on the Indy last month, which is right next to the GS that's under the hot-tub. We didn't have any issues and our view "up to the sky" was only slightly hampered.
I didn't notice the "bronze" windows on our balcony....either it's not that big a deal or it is not present for 1568.
Our balcony got slightly wider as it approached the hot-tub, which was nice because a lounger will fit more easily end-to-end across the balcony facing the ocean.
As for the view of our balcony from the hot-tub....while you CAN look down and see the farther part of the balcony from the tub, you really have to make an effort to do so. The sides of the tub are pretty wide and you have to almost stand up to look over the side.
Much appreciated! Do you feel people in the tub could see anything other than the shape of things in the cabins on 9 which were beneath you?

I've read
In late May/June2019, Adventure will have repositioned to Bayonne, New Jersey.
-
Also for the cabins next to it (not directly under) people in the hottub can look into a large part of your balcony.
I've read that 1548 is okay if you're okay with the tempered glass but is that a clear picture? But what about people watching you from the hot tub?
What would you say is the closest cabin number is safe? So the bottom of the hot tub serves as a roof to the cabins running from 1552-1568 (1252-1268) ?
I am merely guessing the the further boundary of the 1568
How many decks down would you say till this is no longer an obsticle?
I am thinking of changing to a cabin more aft than my current Liberty one of 8654 Superior Ocean View (Balcony).
Thanks so much for your help.

Since Carnival is sending both Glory and Valor, and NCL is sending the Getaway for winter 2019, isn't there a chance Jewel might end up in New Orleans as well?
I would love that!!! I want to sail on her and the only offerings for Jan 2020 is the Liberty out of Galveston.

Waiting for a good deal on eastern for January 2020. We usually get a good deal in March or April!

not many choices currently available. have heard no itineraries till mid April. TA said that they have to have them up by 18 months out. Sounds like things are such a mess that we may be looking more towards that deadline.

You have to walk through a jungle for 20 minutes to get to the river. It is HOT. You are not swimming in the water. You are sitting in a tube floating down the river. Only you bum touches to water most of the time. The air temp is 90s and 90% humidity. Trust me, the cool water is the only thing that keeps you from overheating. More than once I splashed my face with cool water just to cool off.
You make a very valid point. Much appreciated.

I'm sad because I'm actually allergic to the cold and swimming in water cold actually kill me. Is there another destination with cave tubing that maybe warmer?

The last time Jewel cruises were pulled from the website, they all ended up being cancelled.
We are calling those that had to rebook with the redeployment team "refugees". We were bumped from our January 20, 2018 on the Adventure to March 17, 2018. They only offered certain cruises to replace it. That was a wakeup call.

wow yeah. Didn't think of that either!

The Oasis Class offer 7 night Western Caribbean cruises from Miami/Fort Lauderdale/Port Canaveral.
There will also be 4/5 night itineraries from Fort Lauderdale and Tampa, and probably 7 night itineraries from Tampa although they have not been officially confirmed yet.
THANK YOU
Really not interested in Oasis class. I checked Symphony out and it was 3 times the cost.

I booked a cabin on Liberty for Jan 19-26, 2020 that leaves Galveston. I really hope (I do have a refundable deposit) to have another Port. Any guesses as to what ship maybe doing a week long Western Caribbean itinerary. I imagine they will like hold out till the beginning of April till we find out.

how many decks are affected by the cantelevered hot tubs? In other words, is this also a consideration when booking bow cabins on decks 7 and 8?
I may have figured out my own answer. It appears it starts with those cabins ending 60 (example: 6560 and 6260) but does it go through 66 (example 6566 & 6266)?

Since all suites are now non refundable you have to pick that option. If you pick refundable suites you will only see Junior suites nothing higher
SOOOO helpful. Even RCC agent could explain to me?
-
thanks. What's the blank space across the block of cabins 7678-84

I have an old catalog and am trying to decide between an 7th or 8th aft balcony. If I have my information correct the 8th has the Windjammer and Pool? What is on 7? I guess what I need is an actual drawing of the ship. Help please!

I just asked about the release of the Freedom, Vision and Voyager schedules and she's suprised they aren't available as they usually come out 2 years in advance (for Jan 2020). She said they have to be released at least 18 months in advance so keep checking.
If you don't already know she said Radiance will be out of Alaska.

Yes, they still give OBC with onboard bookings. I don't understand the second question. What ship and sail date?
Using the computer and selecting suites only brings up Junior Suites. I've tried four different ships (so surely they're not all taken already?) for January or February 2020 and am not offered any other choices but Junior Suites. (Speaking of which how long ago did some of those schedules get released?)
Specifically the Rhapsody.
