    Norris, When we were on the Ruby in November, the band Pinacle was also there. Fantastic band. There was also a duo (two guys from St Lucia) who often played in the Wheelhouse bar in the evenings. They could do Motown really well. Enjoying your GSJ.

    When we were on our Ruby Cruise first part of November, Gary and I would often sit on this deck and listen to the sea and enjoy the atmosphere. Very calming and enjoyable.

    Norris, so glad to once again enjoy another GSJ. My husband and I were on the Ruby Nov 6 - 20 and really enjoyed our cruise. Only two things marred our wonderful cruise. One passenger had to be taken off the ship to the hospital at a port and another unfortunately died on the ship. Am waiting with 'baited' breath for your continuing saga. Happy New year

    We just came back from being on the Ruby (Nov 6 - Nov 20) We had a great time. If you happen to visit the Wheelhouse bar in the evening, look for a server name Delinda (I think) from Singapore. You can't miss her as she is so friendly and fun. Tell her the Currier's say hi. Also, we were always able to see the NFL games on our Cabin TV. Enjoying your report. Happy sailing.

    I also had grandparents named Oma and Opa. I never learned much german, but learned alot of good swear words. 😂 Following along on your journey.

    My Brother, who was in the navy, went through this ceremony when he crossed the equator on his ship. He said was all done in good fun. I still have some of his pictures. This was in the 70's.

    Can someone let me know which deck the balconies on the Ruby Princess are covered? I know there is a link showing them, but I can't remember what it is. Thanks
