My husband and I are going on Royal Caribbean's land / cruise tour August of 2024. We will be off and on a train, for 6 days, during the land portion before we get on the ship. I have always wanted to take the train ride in Skagway. (In October of 2022 we took the Rocky Mountaineer through the Canadian Rockies). My question is would it be redundant to go on the train in Skagway after going on 2 trains in the last 2 years? We have never been to Skagway before, what excursion would you recommend taking if we didn't take the train excursion? Thank you! Brenda

"Spend and extra 4 to 6 days on the cruise and do a full transit east to west or west to east. Much more enjoyable and amazing" I would love to do that, but, my husband won't go on a 15 night cruise. I was happy he agreed to a 10 night cruise!

orville99 - The excursion you are planning on booking, is it through Royal? I looked on our reservation before I posted my questions, there are not any excursions listed yet.

My husband and I are going on a 10 night western Caribbean cruise that has a stop at Colon, Panama. We booked it while we were on a cruise. The agent told us there was an excursion there that went through the Panama Canal. Has anyone taken that excursion? What did you think about? What other excursions are there in Colon, Panama? We bought some RCCL stock when the price was low. I have heard that there are some perks while cruising if you own some stock. Does anyone know if this is true? If it is true what are the perks and what do you have to do to receive them? Thank you! Brenda
