You could book everything but the headliner show and the comedy show prior to boarding on harmony. I was on the 1030 boarding time and was able to secure spots on both shows. Dont know how others fared at later times. I was a walk in for the Columbus show and got in easily without reservations.

RC seems to be able to do whatever they want and people will still flock to book with them. They have recently increased fees, cut services , and cheapened the menu offerings . Have you seen what they are charging now to cruise with them . Unless you can find a TA with group rates you will pay through the nose. Unfortunately they wont miss the offended pax as others are in line to take their place.

Yes, that machine is a big part of my cruise also . I visit the D lounge several times a day .

Depending how enthusiastic you are if the machine is down like it was on harmony last week myself and another pax did a little self service . Machine needed coffee beans so she started opening all the cupboard doors and came up with a bag of lavazza expresso beans . Filled up the hopper and then the machine stated the grounds needed to be emptied. I found the door at the center of the machine and emptied the container. The machine was back to grinding those beans with the roar of a hemi engine. Cappuccinos for everybody !😀

Ask for a two top by the railing if you dont want to be next to anyone

We had lobster last week on Harmony . Even the waiter said the 16.99 for a second lobster tail isnt worth it . I tend to agree . I ordered two mains , the lobster isnt a big meal on its own.

Ah, we dont have that problem , we use two 26 inch luggage that empty weigh 14 lbs , and when fully packed they weigh 33 lbs each . With the relaxed dress code on formal night , we bring less now . Your method is a sound strategy for your situation.

I dont put anything that isnt important in my carryon . I make it as light as possible. My carry on is a tote bag.( no wheels )

I was on the Oasis around 2015 when a guy jumped off the ship on the last night . Ship had to circle back to try and find him and we were late getting into port . There were many nervous pax jam packed on the promenade deck that morning. I remember telling a couple sitting next to me in the dining room how easy it was to self disembark. I wonder what they thought of me if they chose to self disembark.😃

Last week Harmony had the worst headliner show i have ever seen. A magician that would be good for entertaining kids . This guy was even worse than the guy with the whips . But had one of the best bands called A Groove i have ever heard in Dazzles. Excellent musicians and two very good singers.

Had two comedians on harmony last week . Saw the show in the comedy club and they said they would both be performing the last night late around 11 pm in the main theatre and would have different material . I didnt make it to the second show though.

You arent leaving yourself much wiggle room , but possible . I personally wouldnt do it. Im not that adventurous .

Thats what i do also . The Harmony has a night light built into the bathroom bright enough so you dont have to turn the main light on. Found this worked well with the door open slightly .

Yep , i used one of my 4 free drinks to get fresh squeezed OJ in the dining room at breakfast . Had a couple of drinks and used the rest for bottled water at cafe promenade . You can use them for specialty coffee also . ( if you dont want a trip down to the D lounge ) Between the two of us , we had plenty of water and they chilled quite nicely in the room fridge. The Diamond benefit is quite generous , over 400.00 USD per week , per person if you factor in a few coffees from the Diamond lounge every day along with 4 alcoholic drinks .

Ya , we dont eat bread , so if in the dining room we tell the server to take away the bread basket as we would like to save some calories for other tastier food. With the variety of food available we dont go for burgers or sandwiches on a cruise ship .We can get that at home if we want it. 🙂 Dont eat hot dogs , and with pizza , i toss the crust part where i held it if i didnt use utensils .

I dont cruise that much , and i still rarely get off the ship , having been to those stops often

Ill wash my hands going into the buffet , and then handle all the germ laden utensils as i select my food. I will then not touch any of the food with my hands and use a knife and fork for everything. Even a muffin .🙂

Yep , i dont spend any extra either . Diamond level will take care of anything extra i want .

I like to start off my cruise by approaching the porter and handing him a fiver and say can you hold this for me . Then i hand him my neatly folded tags for him to staple to my two bags and we are all smiling .

Well, i have very low expectations of anybody or anything so i am rarely disappointed . Lol If something goes well ,i am surprised , and then i am elated. 🙂

Another option : pay the difference for an upgrade to an ocean view balcony on Oasis and go with that ,
