  1. At the end of April, we will have a port stop in Maui (tender pier in Lahaina) from 7 a.m. - 6 p.m. Doing the Road to Hana tour with Princess is one of our choices, but my friend gets car sick very easily, so we are not sure if she can handle the ride. Due to physical limitation, we prefer not walking for more than 30 minutes without a break. We don't want to rent a car. We enjoy shopping at large supermarkets and dept. stores (snacks, souvenirs, local items..), eating, and sightseeing. So, besides the Road to Hana tour, any suggestions on what to do for our one day stop? TIA.
  2. We will only have one port day in Maui. Besides Road to Hana, what other things we can do there? Thank you!
  3. We are probably on the same cruise in April (Sydney to L.A.), right? We also consider doing Princess excursion Road to Hana, but haven't booked yet, mainly because my friend gets car sick very easily, and don't know if she will be able to handle the long ride in a minibus. I am just guessing it will be a mini bus because the excursion indicates maximum of 20 persons. Under the excursion "details", it tells you how long the tour stops at each place.
  4. If they can't get the system to post a correct message, they shouldn't post any message at all. 😊
  5. I will suggest that choice to her. Thanks for the suggestion.
  6. I need 1 device and my sister needs 2 devices. We considered each getting 1 device for $7.50/day (after Elite discount, if any), then that totals to $15, a saving of $5/day over the 4-device plan. If my sister only buys the 1 device, she will need to keep switching back and forth for her 2 devices. We decided for $5/day more, it saves the hassle of switching back and forth. So decided to buy the 4 device plan.
  7. Just went to the app to check if able to purchase Medallion net for my April cruise for 27 days. Then saw the message below. Without the discount, I will need to pay $40/day for the 4-device plan? Wow, that is $1,080. With the old pricing and the Elite discount, I would have to pay only $270, that is a big increase.
  8. Thank you for the information. My CVP called me after I did my last CC post regarding something I asked him to check yesterday. While he was on the phone with me regarding my yesterday's issue, he told me he noticed my 2nd cruise of my b2b pricing gone down $140, but for new booking only, so, do I want to cancel and rebook. I know if I cancel and rebook, the new booking definitely will have the new pricing, which mean $220 more than the old pricing, but the new booking price is $140 less than the current booking. I told my CVP just go ahead and cancel and rebook. I rather pay $80 more (pay $220 more on Medallion net but saved $140 on new booking) than having to try to deal with Customer Solutions on getting the old price of the net. Also, no guarantee it can be done.
  9. I booked with CVP. Do you happen to know what phone number I need to call for Customer Solutions? Should I call CS today or wait until the app gets fixed? Thank you.
  10. Thanks. In the email, should I just ask to inform me when the problem is fixed or also ask if I will be able to get the old price?
  11. I plan to send them an email. Should I sent it to Askoceanmedallion@carnival.com or A360ad7@carnival.com ?
  12. Just got off the phone with an agent in the Med App team. He tried to purchase for me, and also not successful. He said he got the same message. He said it should be fixed in a few days; I told him that was what I was 2 weeks ago, and now still not fixed. I told him I booked before 12/13 (I think last date of old price), but hasn't been successful to buy the 4-device plan on the app, and asked him if I can still pay the old price ($10pd for 4-device for Elite)? He said he doesn't think so because the system will not be able to handle the old price. So now I will be paying double for my 22 day cruise (will pay $440 instead of $220).
  13. The price is higher if purchase on board.
  14. Is the 1 year before expiration applies only if submitting online? When I clicked on "renew by mail", the "5" requirements didn't indicate any time period. By if renew by online, one of the ten requirement says current passport must be issued between 2007-2013.
  15. About a month ago, I went to the app and successfully purchased 4-device plan for my two B2b cruise. The 1st cruise is a 5-day cruise and the 2nd cruise is 22-day. My 2nd cruise prices dropped a lot, so, today I cancelled and rebooked my 2nd cruise. Now I need to buy the internet again for the 2nd cruise (since it is now a new booking with a new booking number). When I went to the app's Medallion Net, now both bookings showing "No plans available to purchase". My travel friend has her own cabin, and different booking number than mine, and she has not make any changes to her b2b bookings. She has not purchase the internet plan because I plan to let her share my 4-device plan. So, I asked her to go to the app and go to her 2 bookings and see if she can purchase (just to see if she will get the same message). She also got the same message "no plans available to purchase". Anybody has the same experience? Thank you.
  16. Thank you for the information and suggestions!
  17. Thank you. The ship is scheduled to arrive at 8:30 a.m. Hopefully by 9:30 a.m. we will be all cleared and be allowed to get off the ship freely. Then can immediately walk to Queens Wharf.
  18. Yes, we originally booked as one cruise, 27 nights. Then, there was a promotion with a much lower price for the 5 nights and 22 nights, so we cancelled and rebooked as 2 B2B cruises.
  19. We booked our Transpacific cruise as B2B cruises. 1st cruise is 5 days, Sydney to Auckland; 2nd cruise, 22 days, Auckland to Los Angeles. 1st cruise begins in Australia and ends in New Zealand, but my travel summary for that cruise still states "Credits are in USD".
  20. Thank you. I think we should be able to get to Queens Wharf by 10 a.m. for the tour. Just need to make sure we don't get lost walking from Princes to Queens.
  21. Just checked. Yes, it says "credits in USD". Thank you.
