We are on a cruise from the 13th January and on the cruise personaliser it says that the New Year's Eve event is 'coming soon'. Am hoping we have the right date for our cruise or have not realised that there is such a big time gap between here and the Caribbean 🙂 🙂😉

We'll be really interested to see how you enjoy this cruise. We originally booked this one for 2 weeks from the 23rd but swapped it for the Caribbean one in January 2024. Hubby has always fancied a Christmas cruise so let us know how it goes 🙂 Enjoy

We've just gone mad and booked the 16th for 2 weeks - a balcony we like C deck corner aft for £2,850 with £590 on board spend. Seems years away but at that price we thought it was worth it even if we change it later on.

If I tried to tell you on here I'd be eaten alive by anyone Welsh ! If you've never been to this beautiful part of the world you really must. Have to say it was so cold today it reminded us of Yllad in Lapland. But as that is like heaven on earth that's not a bad thing. It felt so special today .. have never been this time of the year.

We've had a lovely day in Betws y Coed today. It was perfect there. I think we are going to enjoy this retirement lark when it comes and we can do all of our site seeing when it's quiet.

A beautiful morning in North Wales in our caravan. Freezing cold but the sun is out and sky blue so not complaining. :-)

We are planning in a week in Lapland Feb 2025 so we may see them then. This would be our 8th visit and still have yet to see them. Stood on frozen lakes for 90 minutes at minus 30 and clear skies and not a flicker. Am guessing they turn up when they please.. and avoid us. Quite like the idea of the Christmas.vibe on the ship and have to say Pete Aurora seems to suit us. Looks like a small beauty

Perhaps Pete Jr cld volunteer ... then again a reunion with a special fur baby is calling ;-)

This thread has inspired us Pete and Mrs Pete and Peter Junior. Been looking at the one for 2025 for 1st Dec for 2 weeks 2025. Have to say we are tempted and the ship looks lovely - reminds us of one we used to love. (NO MENTION OF TIN CANS PLEASE). Would you recommend pre Christmas? Have a look at the cruise on P&O re the port stops etc. Anyway, many thanks for taking us all along with you. You have sold Aurora to us and even a cold cruise - as long as it snows we are happy! The Northern Lights will be a bonus .....

I'd sobered up by then ..... I think. Last day today am guessing. Hope the force 8 isn't causing too much disruption.
