  1. Have to say, the worst experience we have ever had was on British Airways. Never again .. and as for the snooty woman who looked me up and down as if I was from another planet .... ugh, no words.
  2. Been to Lapland 7 times in February ... and seen the once for about a second !!!!!!! 😞
  3. This made me laugh. I have the same comments re my steps. I have my revenge though as I have a fitbit active so when I wave my arms around it thinks I am swimming and ups my steps !!!!! 😉
  4. Just seen this - if it helps the OP we have flown Jet2 many times and have found them to be an excellent, efficient airline and have always enjoyed our flights. Staff on board very personable and leg room good. Enjoy 🙂
  5. Sounds amazing - have a wonderful time and stay safe. Looking forward to your photos 😉
  6. Sorry if I've missed this - which cruise line are you on and what cruise? 🙂
  7. I thought I was the only one and being not very kind to them as a fellow female. I really do not know what they are thinking !!!! Glad it isn't me and a sign I am getting old!
  8. Hi, yes we had to pay another £100 each supplement - to be honest, we are used to it as most prices for holidays are from a London airport and we have to pay a supplement.
  9. It was £204 pp each way. When we considered the price of the cruise and the on board spend (and as it was a special cruise) we thought 'what the heck'. When we looked at the benefits it seemed the best thing to do as it is a long flight and the perks seem really good. Hubby needs extra leg rooms seats so perfect for him. I don't and can lie down in the extra space 🙂 🙂 🙂 She didn't ask about the seats when booking - if it wasn't for WOWZZ I don't think we would have known anything about it.
  10. We had a lot of soot on the Celebrity Silhouette each time we sailed on her. It was our first aft cabin so I suppose we just expected it on them then. Not on the Celebrity Constellation but the balcony was huge and much of it was under cover. Azura no soot but those cabins are straight down if you get me, not stepped Think we did on Celebrity Edge --- these are stepped too
  11. We have had aft cabins on a number of ships and always take a flannel to wipe down the rail etc -- sad but it works and the view etc more than makes up for it
  12. We are E741 - we normally have F729 but it was taken. Shame we miss one another but you can be our source of info before we go 🙂
  13. Thanks we found them on a photo. Have gone with a deck E aft above the one we normally have as it was not available 🙂
  14. When we have been to the church service for Easter they have held them in the theatre. Not sure if this applied when it is not a major holiday.
  15. Well thank you everyone. We have just moved the cruise from Azura to the Caribbean in January 2024. Aft cabin E deck so we are more than happy. Many thanks for the heads up re the flight seats WOWZZ we had no idea about those. Anyway, have paid £6696 with £600 on board spend for the cruise including the premium seats for the flight so are well happy with that. Off to change my signature now --- excited already !!!!! Thank you everyone 🙂
  16. We booked direct so will have to sort it ourselves
  17. Many thanks for that. We have tended to be restricted to where we go as we are currently tied to school holidays and most cruise lines do the more exotic stuff in term time. It will be a whole new world for us. To be honest looks like we are going to change that cruise .. just fussing about a cabin now.
  18. Where are the canopies? Want to move cruises but don't want to be in an aft cabin with no sun at all. Looking deck D. Had deck F and balconies are big. Are they a similar size?
