Head to the end section ... loads of colour and pretty flat .. well until you have to climb back to the top. Saw lots of mini Charlies today so very doggy friendly .... he can help you back up the hill from the bottom part !!!

We took the plunge at the recommendation of Mr and Mrs Pete14. Have to say I love it ... it is hubby's new toy so he loves to use it and cook. Comes highly recommended from me !!

Have done Spring colour but never Autumn. Comes highly recommended :-)

Discovered parts of Bodnant Gardens North Wales we hadn't seen before. It was stunning today

Friend told me you'd had some rough weather for 3 days. Hope it is all calm sailing for you now 😀

A very wet night here in North Wales. The sun came out and lulled us into a false sense of security earlier. We got soaked ... but the views were worth it and it is quite cosy in a static caravan as the rain bounces off the roof! Nice to see the rivers full again but hoping that we get a little sunshine as well..... makes lovely 🌈

Have a friend on this cruise whose husband is giving talks. Great to be able to track how they are going on here. Thanks for posting 😀

Whatever you do don't book aft cabins as they use these as isolation areas and you end up being moved even if you have paid a select price. Check the threads out. I once had forward D deck deluxe cabin and hated it D114 - far too much 'breeze' and smoky. If I went again, I would go in a C deck balcony cabin as others have said 🙂

Sorry just that I never replied re what I meant by new P&O demographic. Have a friend who has sailed on P&O a number of times recently and her feedback is that things seem to have changed and that they do not seem as interested in the more 'traditional' P&O passengers. If anyone wants more clarification please ask, but I am guessing that anyone who has sailed with P&O in say, 2010 or earlier knows what I mean.

The last time we were on Oceana they were playing bizzare music at breakfast --- am pretty sure Those in Peril on the Sea featured and other hymns ...

Sadly, I feel like we don't meet the 'new' P&O demographic so not sure where to go next. We love Celebrity and Oceania looks amazing ..... but the cost is way higher.

That will keep me quiet in the half term break ..... usually it is after half term I think. Now all P&O need to do is convince us both that the P&O we love is what we will experience if we book. (Sorry, but we have doubts)

Reading some of the posts tonight I wish there was a 'look of horror' face ........ rather than just the like and laugh one!

You beat me to it --- I was just about to post that and then looked down and you'd taken the words right out of my head. I am somewhat pleased though -- to be on your wavelength re humour, I must be doing something right, or I have been led astray !!!! Unless it is a case of 'great minds think alike .. and fools seldom differ' 😉

Hi thank you so much - have only just seen this 🙂 We've done a number of fly cruises with Celebrity and stayed a few days before our cruise and this suits us well as it is just great to be in a city like Rome or Venice for 2 / 3 night before you set sail. 🙂 The information above is great - thank you so much. We aren't looking to cruise with Oceania soon, as I will be doing my 'homework / research' before we book. Not sure about you all, but I think that the research and planning is half the fun 😉 Looking forward to getting to know you all on this board as I am usually over on P&O or Celebrity 🙂

Don't tend to use TA for cruises as we find that we know more than they do ... if needs be I will contact them directly. Just to thought someone on here may know.

Sorry to appear dim but we've never been with Oceania. Reading this I am checking that the air fare is NOT included in the cruise price? If not is the price quoted from their site including the air fare or not as this makes a big difference to our budget. Thanks
