Hi All,
I just booked my first cruise on Disney Cruise Lines. I've sailed seven times with NCL in the past, but now that I have a three-year-old who loves "Hot Doggie" (hopefully someone gets that!), Disney is the only way for us to go.
I feel really disappointed, though, because we got the second seating time. It really took the wind out of my sails! (Pun intended) With a three-year-old, there is literally no way this will be feasible, even with a long nap and hearty snacks! I called today and was placed on the wait list.
My question is this: how likely is it that I'll get the main dining time on waiting list? The lady on the phone said it was likely we'd get it, but I wanted to see if anyone had real-life experiences!
Thank you so much in advance! :)

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who loves the spa passes. I'm sailing next month on the Dawn. Have any readers had any experience with the Dawn selling out? I would be beside myself!

Hi Everyone,
I hope this isn't a mundane question that gets asked a lot and I apologize if it is. I searched some threads and couldn't seem to find anything.
My husband and I are sailing in a few weeks to Bermuda and docking in Kings Wharf. We'd like to visit Horseshoe Bay, but would prefer to visit early in the morning to avoid crowds as much as possible. The #7 bus route says it doesn't depart Dockyard very early but rather "Somerset Terminal." I tried to find where that is but couldn't.
I then started thinking we could take the 7:30 ferry to Hamilton and then bus to Horseshoe, but at that point, we might as well just wait for the #7 to start running from Dockyard.
Does anyone have any suggestions or have a better idea what time the beach crowds up? Years ago, I was docked in St. Georges and we went to Horseshoe very early in the morning...we were the only people on the beach and it was magnificent!
Thanks everyone in advance for your help!

Hi Everyone!
My husband and I are due to embark next month on our 7th cruise board NCL, the Boston to Bermuda sailing on the Dawn. I called my PCC last month to book and I was really disappointed. In the past when I cruised, I felt like they always gave me a little bit off the website price or some sort of free upgrade, but this time I got nothing! I paid the exact same price as I would have had I booked it through NCL, Priceline, *************., etc.
I know for some people, seven cruises is not a lot, but I guess I was just hoping NCL would throw in a little something extra. I booked an inside cabin but I was open to other kinds depending on the "deal" I could get. My PCC did mention that I should call a week prior to the cruise and perhaps they could upgrade me then, but looking at the prices for the particular sailing, they are skyrocketing!
Anyone have any stories to share about deals from PCC and/or the website? Did I get ripped off paying the "list" price as a Latitudes member? THanks in advance!

Hi,
Does anyone know of a place where I could find the Main Dining Room menus for the 4-night Bahamas cruise aboard the Sky? I was going to make advanced dining reservations before we board, but I wanted to see if I could get a feel for the MDR menus before. I've actually never prebooked specialty dining reservations and usually just wait until I'm on the ship, but I thought it might eliminate the hustle bustle of trying to get them on the ship. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Thanks in advance!

Manhattan Cruise Terminal Parking with Toddler?
in East Coast Departures
Posted
Hi All,
I'm going on a Disney cruise in October out of Manhattan with my husband and my three-year-old. We are from southeastern Connecticut, and after considering all the options, we are going to just drive in and park at the cruise terminal.
Has anyone ever had the experience or known anyone who hasn't been able to get parking at the terminal because it was full?
If anyone has any other good ideas for transportation to Manhattan from Connecticut, I'm open to suggestions! We've considered the train, but don't have the patience to lug our suitcases AND a toddler and then fight to find a seat!
