Maybe the guys on the webcam are members of the same household, or have all tested negative.
I get sound on the webcam but no video.

What about figuring how much of each medication you will need for the cruise plus a few days, and asking your pharmacist to package the meds in smaller bottles, with prescription labels on them?

I'm not sure they are even running harbor tours right now. The shoreside dock has flooded and tours were cancelled this week. Might want to contact them directly, or follow them on the social media site we can't link to.

Checking for bedbugs and cleaning any gunk from the drawers are good ideas. Disinfecting with disinfectant wipes just provides a false sense of security. Contact time is what kills the germs, so if the surfaces aren't visibly wet for about five minutes, they're not disinfected.

So if it was 60 meters why didn't she just swim back to the dock? Or are the idiots at fox news "She fell from the Norwegian Star cruise ship about 60m off Croatia's coast late on Saturday night." using 60m to mean 60 miles when the rest of the world would read it as 60 meters
Well, it's an American station, so...

I love Hilo. Looks like old Hawaii. The Pacific Tsunami Museum is very good, and just walking around looking at the architecture can be very pleasant.

The Big Island is still safe to visit. The volcano is only affecting a very small part of it.

You'd think there would be some kind of railing...to keep people who are too busy with their phones, like this woman, from falling off.
-
Why are you so concerned about this? Do you plan on acting liking a real jerk on your next cruise?

Or maybe the OP is just curious. Nothing wrong with that.

There appear to be multiple train options, including one that leaves around 5 p.m. and gets in around 7 p.m.

Love that article! Thank you for the link, I will enjoy looking at more articles there.

I think you mean two years and ten months? My understanding of kids' clubs is that they will not admit children under the advertised age, no matter their potty-training status, and since his date of birth is included in the booking information you can't sneak him in as older than he actually is.

I sent a postcard from St. Maarten (I think) to a friend in Canada. It took nine months to arrive.

This "vlogger" calls her vlog "The Jackson Hive". Wouldn't it be entertaining if the fame she so desperately craves leads to a letter from a Jackson family attorney about her use of a lame take-off of the band's name?

I've been reading comments on the news station's FB page. The woman's mother and brother are making all sorts of comments. What an appallng family.

I have no sympathy for her at all. She makes money using her children for internet views and ad money. Absolutely contemptible. And if she'd bothered to do any research at all she'd have found the 24-week rule. Moron.

Most countries don't allow part of their country to be removed from it's shores. Can you imagine if EVERYONE took part of an ecosystem home with them?
If you want a shell, buy it in a gift store. Don't take sand or shells, or rocks off the island they are on.
The shell leaves its environment and the country no matter who picks it up. It does the same damage to the ecosystem.

I would suggest going to the "Cruising with a Service Dog" thread and getting information, rather than trying to wade through the "he changed his post and contradicted me!" stuff going on here.

Dang, I thought you meant a real Yeti, as your emotional support animal!

Some of those itineraries look fantastic! And I love the Maasdam. I wonder if they will expand to Antarctic itineraries?

I've never been motion sick and sailed in some pretty rough conditions both on cruises and otherwise.
What is perplexing is why people who are predisposed to motion sickness go on cruises in the first place. You see all kinds of them on board with their patches, wristbands and other magic amulets.
Where is the enjoyment in a vacation where you need to be doped up on OTC or even prescription medications before you depart or live in constant dread of dark clouds on the horizon?
I bet you're fun at parties. What an incredibly condescending post. Taking anti-motion sickness medications is not being "doped up", and who said anything about a "constant dread of dark clouds on the horizon"? Those of us who are prone to motion sickness go on cruises because we want to. Good grief.
To correct some misinformation in this resurrected thread, motion while driving is NOT the same as motion while at sea, sometimes motion sickness can ONLY be corrected with medication, and dimenhydrinate does NOT break down to diphenhydramine. It CONTAINS diphenhydramine.
To answer the original question, the scopolamine patch works great for me, with no side effects, and no "doping up".

I think I am the only one in the world that HATES the Harry Potter books. I'm sooooooo alone.
No you're not! LOL. I liked the first four, but the last ones were just too tedious. It was like Rowling was being paid by the word. I actually gave my entire series away, and I hardly EVER give books away.
I have so many books it's ridiculous. I hardly ever read fiction except when I travel, so I can leave the books behind at the hotel or on the ship. Otherwise it's mostly books on World War II. I reread the Little House series every couple of years, I guess those count as historical fiction.

Honestly, I would avoid St. Thomas if you can. There are some beautiful beaches (particularly if you take the ferry to St. John) but the shopping is, IMO, very over-rated. The vendors are pushy and the bargains are often not bargains. If you do go with the idea of purchasing something like a camera or jewelry, do lots of research first to be sure you are getting a good deal. St. Croix is worth a visit if you can find a cruise that stops there.
I love St. Kitts. Lots to do...Brimstone Hill fortress, Caribelle Batik and the surrounding gardens, and the sugar train...great way to see the island. There are also some good shops in Basseterre. St. Maarten is fun especially if you like planes; Maho Beach is great.
Barbados is beautiful and very interesting. Lots of history and lots to see. Antigua has English Harbour, which is worth a visit. The British Virgin Islands are beautiful as well, especially Tortola and Virgin Gorda.
Fort Lauderdale is an easy airport to use and very close to the port, too.
Others will disagree but I'm not really a fan of the ABC islands. At least Aruba and Curacao, the two I've been to. Some of the beaches are beautiful, but most Caribbean islands have beautiful beaches, and if you have limited time, the number of sea days to get there and back will take up a lot of that time.
Please let us know what itinerary you choose!

BHelicopter evacuations are actually quite rare (which is why the ghouls on here start a thread to morbidly speculate on the unfortunate person's condition whenever one happens) as such a stressful ride substantially decreases the survival rate even when compared to a slower sea evacuation.
LOL @ "ghouls". Do you have any objective data showing that the helicopter ride "substantially decreases the survival rate"? And if it IS substantially decreased, perhaps that is more a function of the severity of the problem requiring the helicopter, than the ride itself.

Fox News is showing it live and interviewing a passenger. Weird to see a ship coming in with no one on deck.
