  1. I would like to go to Ischia on my upcoming trip on Getaway. Ship is due to arrive at 6.00 am and leaves at 7.00 pm. There seem to be a number of different options - ferry/hydrofoils with different companies. Can anyone advise if buying a ticket for the 8.55 from Molo Beverelloto (which seems to be closest to the cruise port) then returning on either the 3.55 or 4.15 sounds like it is doable? There is also one at 4.55 which takes an hour but am always wary of getting back at the last minute!
  2. Hi Tom I’ve been solo a few times. Definitely go to solo meet ups. They ask who wants to go for dinner and the host reserves a table. Nice to see some familiar faces each night
  3. Thanks everyone that’s really helpful 😊
  4. Hi everyone, in spite of having been on quite a few NCL cruises I have never attended the art auction. Although I have no intention of buying anything, can anyone tell me what it actually involves - is it just as it says ie people bid for paintings or is it more interesting and worth going along to?
  5. I have an NCL package with flight, overnight hotel and all transfers. Can anyone advise if it will matter what time I choose for boarding if I have to wait on the taxi/coach/whatever is organised by NCL from hotel to port? I don't know when they will tell me what time I get picked up at. I'm staying in NYC sailing in February. Thanks
  6. So, I have a flight home to UK at 9pm from JFK after my Getaway cruise in February. Airfare and transports arranged by NCL. My question is, is it feasible to take the transfer to the airport, leave my luggage and then travel into Manhattan for the day for some sightseeing then get back to airport by about 6pm to check in? I don't really want to hang around the airport all day. The other option is to take the NCL sightseeing excursion which will do the airport drop off afterwards but I reckon that would have me back at the airport by early afternoon.
