Make sure you take hand sanitizer to your table after you get your food from the windjammer, etc. then use it when you get back to your cabin, use it thru out. We used it all the time in a dec cruise and didn't get it, then we went on a cruise afterwards and thought, oh we won't get it and did not use our hand sanitizer and got it

I checked prices for March of 2026 using the exact same room categories that we booked last October of 2022 for our March 2024 Icon cruise. Over $5,000 price increase! Yikes!
so disappointing!

25-26 Icon sailings are up.Still expensive.
I just saw this - a little disappointing. My family is big and I really want to take them on Icon, but can't justify the 5000.00 for a o.v. balcony or even an o.v (yes, we really like balconies) Do you know when next Icon ship will be out?

Any suggestions for hotels that yall can recommend that's close to bayside marketplace, we wanted to eat/shop, etc the day before our cruise. I'm a marriott member and am looking at courtyard marriott downtown, but I can't really tell how close - Thanks

I found a good price for Icon, but it's a Guarantee oceanview cabin, does anyone know if there are any blind spots, etc for the OV Balcony?

Hundreds of hotels in Manhattan and many are just a short taxi ride from the cruise terminal so there's no need to be very close. Good restaurants are everywhere...it would be hard to find a hotel that is very far from someplace good to eat.
Are you just staying in Manhattan for one night or several?
If you want to be within walking distance of the cruise terminal, the best hotel is probably Ink48 . There are also a couple of chain hotels on West 48th St. ...Holiday Inn Express and Comfort Inn that are OK for a one night stay.
yes, it'll be just for one night. we will fly in and then just look for a place to eat, so we won't have time to look around really, but want a nice clean hotel, even though it's for one night 🙂

I'm looking for good hotels that cruise out of manhatta cruise terminal - any suggestions in walking distances to restaurants, etc.

thank you all - are there good shows, trivia, etc

I'm thinking about the Escape for a new england cruise, has anyone from this group sailed on her? If so, what did you think, I always cruise royal and like the big ships but the itineary is better on the Escape. Yes, I'm going for scenery, etc, but still love big ships
-
I always cruise royal caribbean, but looking into the Escape, We are thinking about new england/canada in october. Can you tell me about the ship, I know I'll enjoy the scenery, but I do like a big nice ship w/ entertainment. Are there game shows, activities, etc. Thanks

PEI and overnight in Quebec were the highlights of our cruise.
OTOH, I could do without Sydney and St. John....
Cape Liberty to Quebec on Vision of the Seas

I think there are separate groups for Boston, Cape Liberty/Bayonne NJ, and Baltimore. We would also be going for the itinerary and think a smaller ship would be perfect for this type of cruise. We sailed on Radiance in Alaska, which is a "sister ship" to Serenade and really enjoyed it. Lots of windows to soak in the view.
yes, it's just so overwhelming, well at least right now 🙂 I'm bringing people who have not cruised before, so want the schedule to be really nice

I want to go on a new england/canada cruise in October, I need help with a good itinerary? Boston, Maine, Quebec.
Also, Norweigan Escape (Bigger ship - never cruised NCL), but i do enjoy rccl's oasis class. Rccl would be Serenade of the Seas (smaller) But, we are going for the itinerary.
thank you

They use to have really good sales on Going, Going Gone and more cruises to choose from, have they not done that in a while?
