  1. I never eat at the buffet or in the MDR but I like that idea.
  2. That is one way to do it, if the staff know who has what included so that I don't want to give them my card when ordering Champagne!
  3. I want more longer cruises on newer ships. We don't want to fly to Florida for a one week cruise but all the longer cruises we have found from Florida are on older ships.
  4. I don't want them to include more things that will come with a cost because they will of course add that to the fare. Things like included spa services, venchi, more exclusive alkohol, specialty dining, excursions etc. is not an improvement, I think.
  5. The photographers were actually not very pushy. They always accepted a no. The problem was that the stairs were blocked so it wasn't possible to just pass the photographers and move on.
  6. So you move the ropes that shipstaff has put up? Is that really allowed even if the photographers has put them up?
  7. Taxi between airport and port has a fixed price of €39 in Barcelona, no extra tip is really needed but we paid €45 last week.
  8. Are you thinking about the stairs close to the elevators? The stairs I mean are the stairs going between the decks everywhere on the "promenade area" on deck 6-8. (Sorry I wasn't clear about that.) It was possible to use the staircase but if being in the middle of the promenade and wanting to go to another deck the walk was very long. Thoose stairs are probably not considered to be emergency exits.
  9. Depends on where. In Barcelona a butler follow you all the way through the terminal and leave you outside. I know that in the US they are not allowed to do that. We embarked in Barcelona last friday. Our butler took both our carryons from the lounge to the luggage claim. There he gave us the carryons and took both our large bags all the way to the taxiline.
  10. I don't think that you have just been lucky. I think the main reason is that there are so few big suites in the YC so normally there are very few children. NCLs Haven has many more big suites so problems with kids is more likely there.
  11. I like most of your suggestions, especially since they don't really cost much. Number 1 I don't like because that may lead to more people in the YC.
  12. The problem was that you couldn't use the stairs and that made it difficult to get to another deck.
  13. I guess it depends on how they block them. They used the kind of ropes they often have on airports.
  14. I absolutely agree about the umbrellas. Included spaservices doesn't interest me.
  15. The Yacht Club is already excellent but does anyone has any idea how they can make it even better? I mean realistic things, not things like helicopter transfer from the ship to the airport! I think that a special YC elevator not only within the YC-decks but to all decks should be nice. A special taxiline when disembarking should be great too! I understand if MSC can't decide that but it should be nice. Maybe embarking YC passengers could use a special lane to get directly to the tent with the taxi and there they could let disembarking passengers take the taxi from the port. What a great perk! Any suggestions? What should you appreciate?
  16. Big deal when in a hurry to get to the Champagnebar and can't get there!
  17. I'm sure that their butler and other staff in the YC will do everything for them to make the cruise great.
  18. Not really "late", the "Yacht Club sundeck grill and bar" closed att 5 pm on our cruise.
  19. They probably feel that the Yacht Club restaurant is crowded.
  20. We embarked the MSC World Europa yesterday. Early during the cruise our butler told us that they should open a new restaurant for Yacht Club guests, I don't remember his exact words. He wasn't sure what day it should be when he told us about it and he never came back to us about it.
  21. We are not very experienced, it was only our 10th cruise. It was much worse than it has been before.
