  1. From reports on FB, no - no noise It's only open at night, dinner hours, and at $79, it's not super busy. Definitely not a high traffic area or anything.
  2. No one really knows quite yet, as the Sanctuary Collection hasn't actually started yet I'd assume they'd be at extra cost, particularly given how many guests are in Sanctuary Collection - but how much or whether they are - anyone's guess. They're currently $499 on Sun..
  3. Works like a champ for me. Access excursion, dining reservations, check-in, and so forth - all works fine .. (Android, Pixel 7, FWIW).
  4. Seeing as I have them listed as one of my favorite drinks (post #11) - yes, they do make them. They can make virtually any drink, provided they have ingredients, whether it's listed on the menu or not. And yes, they have well stocked bars, where creme de menthe, creme de cacao, cream, etc.
  5. Yes, and yes, Platinum/Elite discount applies to 24 hour Internet purchase ($30) as well as cruise long internet access package ($24.99 one device).
  6. For online website Manage Booking - clear cache and cookies, or use Incognito mode. Works like a champ. As for your app - I got nothing. Delete and reinstall?
  7. I would presume so. However, if I cancelled the package, for whatever reason, I would also change my order to pick up.. I'd also expect my restaurant reservations to be chargeable, should I cancel the package also, at some point..
  8. That's not the case, in my experience. Have Premier booked on next two cruises, haven't made any payment yet (final payment isn't due yet), and have ordered my medallion for both cruises, no charge at all. YMMV
  9. Cartegena Cool Sandia en Fuego (spicy watermelon) Coco Cafe The Butterfly is fun, but not my fave Above at Good Spirits. Milky Way Martini Grasshopper Captain's Bounty Tokyo Ice Tea (long island ice tea topped with Midori instead of coke) And my go to - Belvedere vodka rock..
  10. Have been in a suite on Regal several times.. absolutely love the aft suites as the bedroom and living room are much more separated than those midship ones.. Sabatini's suite breakfast is delightful. We rarely make use of the Suite Lounge, but it is handy for the odd water or snack here or there. On a week cruise, we don't bother with laundry service, but it is handy on longer sailings.. The embarkation night specialty dinner is lovely also.. Regal (and all Princess ships except the new Sphere class) does not do a "ship within ship" suite experience - there's no special deck space or separate dining room, etc. the Reserve dining with a suite is a portion of one of the midship dining rooms, same menu, kitchen, etc just an extra dish or two each night. It's lovely to not really have a wait and not needing to make reservations... Other than the suite only breakfast in a specialty restaurant and the suite lounge, there's no spaces for suite only or butlers or that sort of thing. You do get the suite/Elite line at guest services! 😁 Absolutely love Regal, it's our favorite Princess ship... Have a great time!!
  11. For $1000 more total - if definitely upgrade to a Sanctuary Collection balcony cabin. The Premier Cruise Package alone is $1260 for 7 nights! So, to get the Premier Cruise Package, Sanctuary access, separate dining, and so forth, for an extra $1k - I'd absolutely do it, if the budget allows... Cabin itself is the same, although the Sanctuary Collection deluxe balcony cabins have a massive extended balcony, which is a bonus also - 2 full size loungers, 2 chairs, table and still tons of space . There's 7 specialty restaurants aboard Sun - one for each night! Umai Teppenyaki Catch Butcher Block Crown Grill Umai Hot Pot Sabatini's Kai Sushi As for excursions - best is subjective, for sure.. I definitely agree with Pompeii, and pizza in Naples! Pickpockets are real and sneaky and all over. Try a Pacsafe or Travelon cross body locking bag, lots of styles to choose from and they're definitely added peace of mind. Be very aware of surroundings, secure any valuables - phone, wallet, etc. Have a wonderful time!!
  12. Maybe? Depends on conditions on any given day.. they're all very good, healthy active reefs... There's no real "better or worse" - just different Turtle reef area is healthy coral and active fishes, etc. more open water reefs as opposed to along the cliffs, etc like the reefs off Soufriere Beach Park... Anse Cochon has both shore reefs and open water reefs... I'm sure the guides will hit the best reefs for the day...
  13. Sanctuary Collection is solely on Sun/Star aka Sphere class ships, as of now. Whether Princess will change older ships in the future is anyone's guess. Sapphire is same as always. Sanctuary is $10/40 half/full day, $30 full day when booked for entire sailing..
  14. Been Elite for years, and buy either Plus or Premier on every sailing. Minibar is handy when not wanting to wait on room service, half off internet - no big deal, used to pay to upgrade to unlimited even back when we had minutes when Internet was metered, don't do ship Excursions, have used the shop discount on occasion, laundry is super handy, etc.. YMMV
  15. All Sanctuary Collection cabins include the Premier Cruise Package (if booked after April 23, 2024), whether Sanctuary Deluxe Balcony or Sky Suite... The only difference between a Sanctuary Mini-suite and an S9 Signature Sanctuary suite is Lounge access for S9, when it comes to Sanctuary Collection perks.. the Suite also gets laundry, first night complimentary specialty dining (irrelevant given the unlimited specialty dining with Premier Cruise Package), one minibar set-up, and other suite perks..
  16. Do they not show in the app? My dinner reservations show right in the app on each day..
  17. MDR Buffet International Cafe Lido deck grill and pizza Above all included. Gigi's (charge or covered by Cruise Packages)
  18. Yes, rain or shine, MUTS runs. 2 showings a night, 7 and 9:30 or similar. Yes, screen is easy to see - same as daytime. Weather varies - anywhere from cool and wet to hot and dry..
  19. Yeah, thanks for this. Of on a Magnifica 4 nighter in just a few days, very last minute booking - the photos definitely helped me know what to expect. We too love MSc for their own vibe, so different from the mainstream lines. It's definitely part of their charm. Looking forward to it even more now, thanks to you.... PS: on Valiant Lady in Feb, lol. I'll take a look at those too...
  20. FWIW - Carnival's site does say that cruises visiting Canada, US Permanent presidents need card AND passport. Not sure if it's new or not, but it is spelled out in there.. Each line can set their own rules on being stricter than the minimum required..
  21. And Love By Britto shows as a specialty restaurant also, on the list of restaurants - except it's not.. it's Experiential or whatever they call it. And $79. Not $45. You cannot book it with Premier dining credits O'Malley's is absolutely casual dining, first come first serve, no reservations, $14.99 for prix fixe sans any Cruise Package,(7.50 for kids), etc. And Love is not a specialty restaurant either. Not bookable with Premier dining credits, etc. although, when you do click on Live, it still states Specialty dining, specialty dining cover charge applies, but clearly states not Premier eligible. Why they're calling it specialty dining and not Experiential like Spellbound - anyone's guess.. Regardless of the obvious misinformation on the app...
  22. Pretty sure turtle reef is around Anse Chastenet area.. As you're going private, you'll be ahead of any crowds, usually.. you may want to start at Sugar Beach and work your way back north. It won't make much material difference though, particularly if you're the only ship in port that day..
  23. ?? Where are you seeing Princess refer to the new Premier package as Premier+? It's not listed as such on their website under packages, nor in my app or anything.. It clearly just listed as Premier.
