The English breakfast items were surprisingly good. The bangers were very much like the ones you find in the UK. We will be in Aqua class for our cruise on the Solstice. I hope I will be able to get them in Blu.

It was in the MDR. You are correct about not coming back if you decline at first. I found that as well in the lounges.

Every night at dinner we had at least three different servers offer alcohol within the first five minutes of being seated. One night, I ordered from the second server when a few minutes later, the third server asked if I wanted a drink. I replied that I had ordered from another server, only to be told that they (the third server) was supposed to take my order. I found it to be very odd.

The furniture was so badly worn on our 6/30 sailing that I nearly fell through one of the chairs. I reported it and the chair was replaced. I was actually quite shocked that they would still be using furniture that was in such bad condition.

I don’t understand why Celebrity didn’t already have a non-alcoholic option for the toast. It should have been,’ Thank you for letting me know. Would you like a glass of sparkling cider?’ The sommelier was definitely in the wrong for pushing alcohol after being told no.

Per their website: Shorts and flip flops are not considered Smart Casual. I am guessing that is for women as well. I think it is just a crap-shoot on whether it is enforced. I don’t care what others wear and honestly would love the option to wear nice shorts to dinner.

No shorts was definitely not enforced in the MDR last week on the Eclipse.

We (a couple) were on June 30th cruise to Bermuda and it was filled with large families including a lot of kids. The main dining room felt like a high school cafeteria with the noise. The kids at the table behind us were sitting in the window wells and would not stay seated. We will not cruise that week in the future.

Did you encounter many Portuguese Man’O Wars at Horseshoe Bay?

Give me shorts in the dining room over a chair hog any day (and I do follow the suggested dress code).
